The giant croc doesn't seem to be female and it's probably a representetive of the flying croc god found on the leaked images. Notice the giant Anubis-like head has a Stargate thingie around the head...I think the leaked flying croc is a Sobek-like god since there's a Stargate thingie around his head as well. I also noticed the flying croc spews some fire so the god could be blue-red.
Also, this pice of art is pretty old, not sure why open a new thread about it.
We probably will see at least five humanoid tribes - rams, crocodiles, ainoks, avens and cats. Not sure about colors.
I'm not sure it will be that high. We're probably looking at 3 or so. I know we haven't gotten a real good look at many of the figures, but from the booster pack art, all 3 figures appear to be human. Of all the human sized figures on the art in the OP, the only ones that I would say is 100% non-human is the ram in the lower left hand corner, and I'm judging that based on the fact that the arms are the same tones as the face, and the aven. The other figure in the art, and in the booster, could be masks.

My speculation based on guess of five gods (five pantheons: Solidarity, Knowledge, Power, Ambition and Zeal). So, five animal-headed gods - five animal-headed humanoid tribes for them.
Also, each of last two-set blocks has the same paradigm: five booster packs for first set with three planeswalkers on them, and three booster packs for second set, with one planeswalker on them (you may check to see how it's true). Amonkhet will feature Liliana and Gideon, so... Which one of those three guys on boosters is a native Egyptian walker?

Well if we're going with the assumption that one of them is a planeswalker, my guess would be it's either the figure in the middle or the right. The guy on the left looks more like a creature to me. As for the 5 gods, I'm right there with you, but I don't think that means we'll get 5 races, one for each god. Not even Theros was that clear cut.

*I* found it today. *I* have not seen the whole art before, just the right part, that is a front cover of the Amonkhet artbook. *I* have not seen or found it discussed it anywhere else here.
And judging from the ongoing discussion, maybe it was worth its own thread.

Okay, I was wrong this time.
According to new fresh art, fifth god is a snake (so I have no idea what ram folks are supposed to be). And no Lili and Gideon on spotted booster packs, so my theory doesn't work anymore.

Note that there is no indication for croc-dragon being a god. The collar could very well just be a collar to keep it under control. Remember that Bolas is a dragon too and at that he is one that either want every other dragon dead (like Niv-Mizzet almost exterminated dragons on Ravnica) or under his thumb (like he did on Alara and on Tarkir) and you don't want other feral dragons to weak havoc on your realm while you are away.
I don't think that the croc is a dragon. Dragons don't really fit with the Egyptian mythos. Croc has wings to emphasize the flight ability most likely. Also the gods on Amonkhet are vassals of Bolas, since he created the plane. Maybe the Stargate thingie is how Bolas controls the gods.

Well they always do ~5 races for the characteristic races for each color.
I'm guessing the guy on the booster is a new walker since he looks like the figure featured in the key art.

I wonder if the huge Jackal god statue means that he's the lead god in the pantheon. The surprising thing is that going by the other pictures we have of all the gods, the Jackal is the red-aligned one.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
I doubt Bolas would "share" the top of the Pantheon with anyone else. It probably means that each god has its own domain to rule, probably split by colors.

True, but that doesn't mean they line up one-to-one with the gods. Look at Theros, sure the merfolk and minotaurs (and I guess satyrs) all had 1 god, but the 3 major cities were all humans, and the leonin had no god.
Totally out of the blue, but I think the Bolas horns in the background will be a Stargate-style device.
Like the huge space gate the Ori made to funnel ships through, the Bolas Horns will be the gate to send Gods and armies through to conquer other planes.

I kinda' hope they're not mono coloured, and instead they maybe try going the three colour route with it? I mean, if they're gods in the way the Theros gods were (which I honestly doubt with the enchantment aspect), then we have mono coloured and two coloured gods already, it'd be somewhat lame in my opinion to have more. I think they'll be different than the gods we know of, though. I also hope they're not planeswalkers. I always feel like they try and make the main characters planeswalkers lately, and the side characters legends. I want a block where the legends are the big factor, like it was in theros and their gods.

I don't any of the five gods share the top with Bolas. I think each stone head is a temple. As if you look in the crocodile god's artwork, he also has one in his image in the background. Five temples within one city state.
I think the plane and all the subsequent story art looks visually amazing, much like Kaladesh did so, I think it's going to be really great in draft and sealed. Can't wait to see what it brings forward for the EDH community.
not sure if it's been noted anywhere. But there appears to be two suns in that picture? There's a highlight just under the croc's staff, and a second highlight behind the giant bolas horns

What can be seen here?
OfflerCrocodile-headed ?female? giant descending the stairs. Two (or three) animal-like humanoids on the bottom left terrace.
The one facing us seem to be modeled after a ram, another one of the same sort is bottom right.
Of course, these might be Stargate Jaffa-like headdresses, but the one bottom left seem quite bulky for a human.
The another one bottom right seem to be jackal-headed "Anubis", with its back to the observer.
To its left, a thing with white wings. I daresay it is not an angel, but an ibis-headed aven (note the head-thing between the wings.
