My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
This card has to be busted in modern Affinity....could even potentially see play in Vintage Shops as a source of a cheap Mana Leak. I really don't know what to say about this, this is just great.
All hail the rise of another New Phyrexia set in terms of power for Standard. It's great to see you, cost reduction mechanics and CMC matter cards!
AND it's a COMMON!? Drafters and Sealed players rejoice. I seriously thought it was a Rare when I read it the first couple times.
Come on Wizards, THIS IS NOT YOUR APRIL FOOLS' SET!
Mana Leak is back, and better. Affinity is going to love this.

On the reserved list: Wizards won't remove it. Only we can. In other words: Play Modern, Pauper, or No-RL Eternal.
I wonder if improvise will make people playing Bone Saw a thing...I mean with this, you just drop Island, Ornithopter, Saw, go, and you're ready for anything.
Well that's interesting. I definitely foresee this finding a home alongside Paradoxical Outcome at least out of sideboards. While not a strict upgrade to negate for the aetherstorm decks, this is more maindeckable and allows a much greater degree of flexibility in terms of what is needed to protect yourself while going off. It isn't very good on its own, and it definitely is behind the mediocre Spell Shrivel on two counts if you can't improvise reliably, but in the right deck this is a 1 mana Mana Leak. If nothing else, this set is going to get me to revisit Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas in modern to see if the new toys line up well enough.

I'm gonna be jamming Aetherstorm at every FNM I can after release 12 0 drops, sram, this and/or negate as protection, access to Reflector Mage and spell queller, has the workings of being a very real deck.
Standard will have only three 0-cost artifacts (at this time, pending new spoilers), Bone Saw, Cathar's Shield, and Ornithopter. Being able to drop two artifacts and a blue land on turn 1 is not outside the realm of possibility. It wouldn't matter if you tip your hand to your opponent that you have Rebuke in hand--the threat alone might alter their plans until turn 4.
Well this set seems nuts. This with Baral is obviously nuts and with so many servos and clues in standard at the moment this will easily be U manaleak. Only time will tell if there are enough other cards to support this kind of deck though.

How you doin?
This is mana leak but with artifacts tapping for it so it only cost U in artifact decks.
Modern: Decks I'm playing right now:
G Mono Green Tron (34-10-3 paper record, only SCG/Regionals/PPTQ record)
C Eldrazi Tron (9-5)
UG Infect

RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.

This is ridiculous at commons. UB Artifact Control with Baral and new Ensoul Artifact?
Many thanks to DNC at Heroes of the Plane Studios

It might be better than Spell Pierce in sideboards. I tried Stubborn Denial and didn't like it, we'll see how this does.
No really, awesome card. There must be a deck for this.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
Doomsdayin'
this just might be the best common counterspell in a LOOOOOOONG time.
