Tezzeret's Simulacrum is the first card from a Planeswalker deck that I actually care about. It's actually really good with Original Tezzeret, he can search this out without dying, and untap it for 6 life drain a turn!
I'm not a great Standard player so if I'm saying stupid, just tell me.
But suppose we're playing Standard here, and I fire off a turn 5 Tezzeret's Betrayal, pull up Tezzeret, Master of Metal with it...then next turn play that Tezz and use his +1 to grab myself a Gearhulk.
Would that be viable?

Is it just me, or does Ajani's aid seem really weak? It's surely the most underwhelming of all the planeswalker deck cards. Four mana and it doesn't even completely save you for a single turn? I know it's not supposed to be an amazing, constructed-playable gem, but all the others at least do something useful when you drop them, aside from just fetching up the walker.

Eh, it's a thing but not amazing. tezzeret's Betrayal being sorcery speed hurts a lot; you could just be casting fumigate at that point and even that is sometimes too slow. With vehicles and flash creatures everywhere you really want instant speed removal.
I feel like people are really underestimating Pendulum of Patterns. Three life and draw a card for any color! Has to be a sideboard card for Legacy Burn in order to win the mirror, right?
Both uncommons entice me more than rares. The G one would me really cool with, Ajani, caller of the pride
Rares are too specific. Why the WG allow to tutor only Ajani, Valiant protector ? I know its the precon's PW but both Ajani belong to AER.
That's the way the planewalker decks work. Maro said in the article that explained the new walker decks that each would contain a rare that tutors up the deck's specific walker.

Also for tezzeret, master of metal to for sure grab a gearhulk you have to be playing only the gearhulks as your artifacts leaving tezz's -3 basically useless. Plus torrential gearhulk can't flash back the tezzeret's betrayal.
I just can't think of a deck in the current format where I'd be happy going basically turn 5 kill one creature, turn 6 do nothing, turn 7 gearhulk.
