very interesting, it could use some training in the Training Grounds and the like to make it better, although if you use a mana producing artifact it can get crazy.
Well its a vanilla minotaur in any color that enables artifacts, but in an uncommon slot with all the competition boy thats not saying much. It won't even duplicate your own (or enemy) vehicles usefully, since you still need to crew them, and at 7 to activate you better not be trying to get an artifact with a mana cost to activate.
Oh good. In URW Thopters I can make another Panharmonicon or Decoction Module, making it easier to create infinite thopters and gain infinite energy, then pass the turn before winning on my next turn.
Limited bomb who might show up in Standard from time to time.
I disagree, I think 7 is perfectly fair on this. Not broken but a potentially very strong mana sink.
Love all these new assembly workers, makes my heart happy :):)

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
The cool thing about this is that you use it to sink unused mana at the end of your opponent's turn, at the very least to create a 2/3 attacker for your next turn.
is there any good way to make an artifact that taps for 8 mana? If so, you got infinite mana right there!
then again, you have practically infinite mana just by having something that can tap for 8 lol i mean, if you cant win with 8 mana, just stahp

This works wonders with Solemn Simulacrum. You effectively get to tutor a basic land onto the battlefield for 7, and if you manage to sac the copy, draw a card afterward. With Myr Battlesphere, you get four additional Myr tokens for every 7, and with a Thopter Engineer on the field you get to swing with the Battlesphere token as well. And of course the aforementioned Gearhulks combo with this, even the Cataclysmic Gearhulk since you can always choose the Assembler and the original Gearhulk as your artifact and creature to spare. Combustible Gearhulk seems like the most fun one to copy, though.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Could probably also do work with Doubling Cube in EDH, though you do need quite a bit of mana for that to start working.

14 in the pool before the first Cube activation to go infinite, 13 if you just want infinite tapped Doubling Cube tokens. I've definitely seen more ridiculous mana in EDH games.

I like how colorless EDH decks now have a Splinter Twin-esque 1-card combo win if they have Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth (or any way to generate infinite generic mana)

Interesting
I do find it kind of funny that the flavor text talks about efficiency when the card's activated ability costs 7, though.
