It is a mythic because it represents a one-time "no, you actually didn't lose the game that turn" effect. Since you are already at 7 mana, though, it does present a hilarious combo with Cogwork Assembler--create token, exile token, don't lose, reset to 20 life, keep playing, aggravate opponent.

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.

but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.

We're gonna be rich!
For the sake of arguement, consider HS Magic lite. Reno is probably the best comparison. It's a one time reset that could let you win the game in the correct conditions.
Of course this will not let you win against infect since Platinum Angel is better than this in that situation. Alt win cons like Lab Man and the like are inherently bad decks and are really a non issue. Sure your EDH shenanigans/kitchen table may see moments of hilarity, but there are strictly better cards for dealing with those minor trip ups in competitive play. Mill is such a gotcha finge deck that you shouldn't really worry about it.
If you're a turbo fog player (or maybe even control) this is your late Christmas present. This card will make all kinds of Turbo Fog brews happen and some interest will spike this card up, but I don't think this is a great card for competitive. Funny, but nothing insane.
The best Reno Jackson parallel would be Resolute Archangel since ETB effects are almost the same as battlecries in Hearthstone.
It's been mentioned already, but this doesn't scream mythic when Resolute Archangel already exists and is better in most of the situations you need it for, and the Resolute Archangel is easier to repeatedly reuse.
Alternate win conditions vary. If we're talking about Laboratory Maniac, the opponent has to draw another card in order to win again. Various "win-game" upkeep triggers would fail to kill you.
This is incorrect. 'Winning the game' is something entirely separate from 'others losing the game'. This is why Platinum Angel says 'and your opponents can't win the game' in addition to making you not lose the game. Even if you cannot lose the game, another player can still end the game by winning it unless you have an effect that prevents it. The only effects this protects you from are 'you lose the game' effects like Door to Nothingness and Triskaidekaphobia.
I definitely see the use of this against milling. I've often encountered the situation where I could shuffle my graveyard back into my library if only I could reach my main phase, but suddenly I'm milled for 10/someone exiles my top 10 cards causing me to lose before I get my Elixir of Immortality back.
Rules question: If your deck is empty and an opponent forces you to draw two cards, do you lose the game once or twice? In other words, does this card protect you from mill death when you are forced to draw multiple cards after your library is empty?
But infect and commander damage are state-based actions that aren't reset by this.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

As has been said, lose again is not an appealing concept

Then you're on 20 life and 10 infect counters.
So you're still dead. Yay.

Is it just life gain, or does reset any of the board w/ a replacement effect?
This card was not designed for Modern.
So quit griping about poison counters.
Is it just me or is she wearing something that Queen Amadala would be seen in?!?!
It does, sorta, save you from alt win cards. Mostly if they're one-shot or trigger on upkeep or something.
If they trigger on upkeep, you have one turn to answer them or remove the opponent.
And it definitely saves you from Triskaidekaphobia.
But infect and commander damage are state-based actions that aren't reset by this.
