In this card's defense it only requires 5 mana to set up rather than eight and it will actually do some damage before dying to just about anything. An effect like this should end the game on the spot so the repeatable effect should be moot. Well other than in EDH anyway.
There are a few creatures that give E on attack, having 3-4 of the right creatures out and attacking would mean infinite combat steps?
I like this idea. Currently there are Glint-Sleeve Siphoner, adding E, and Aethergeode Miner, adding EE. Another creature that adds EE (or more, lol) on attack would help.
edit: There already is a third creature in Aetherwind Basker. So a RG energy deck with ramp and the aim to go infinite? Yay.

Also with all the pump spells RG energy is running, those affects will be active each combat during the turn.
Sorry for the stupid question but it says that you untap all your creatures. Does that mean they don´t attack anyway?
Untapping a creature does not remove it from combat. It just untaps it. The status "attacking" is still true, like a creature having Vigilance, that does not need to tap for attacking.
This is mythic because of Limited. 2/2 double strike with haste is going to quickly end a game, especially since we have a few common pump spells in the block (Larger than Life, Built to Smash and Built to Last in Kaladesh, and probably more in Aether Revolt).
I doubt this will ever see Standard play, though GR Energy might run one or two.
The extra combat phases notwithstanding--some decks make it ridiculously easy to collect 8, 16, or 24 energy--I like double-strike creatures. It is only a shame that Scourge Wolf couldn't find a home.

I've already started to worry that they decided to drop double strike like they did with regeneration.
Correct me if I'm wrong but until 6 you can count them easily, everything above seems to always be 8 energy counters.
a 2/2 for 5 without evasion, that needs to attack to be relevant and dies to EVERYTHING....

If you have four of these, you wouldn't need it at that point. However, playing this after that Lizard in a R/G Ramp build seems dangerous.
