I like this a lot and I'm 99% sure it's going to see heavy standard play. Do you think it's modern-playable with fetches being a thing?
It hits 30 out of the 50 most played creatures. Without Revolt. 41 with.

Wow, this is such a good card in tandem with fetches.
Now all we need to see is some kind of countermagic with a similar templating and all will be right in the world. Something akin to Prohibit with Revolt.
Also interesting is that it's a throwback to the Red Elemental Blast/Pyroblast disparity. Rarely if ever makes a difference; opens up very narrow lines of play like targeting something that was Makeshift Mannequin'd or something with Illusion templating. I suppose it also makes a different in that it could trigger Kira, Great Glass-Spinner's ability even if it doesn't resolve, clearing the path for other removal.
Beautiful. Kills just about everything in modern, even without the effect from fetching

I'd be rather surprised if it sees Legacy play, but this card is sweet.

For Legacy, it's certainly better than Disfigure. And that one already sees kind of a lot of play. Even without Revolt it's really good. I can even see it replacing Dismember to some extent. The only real downside is that it won't ever kill Reality Smasher.
That's fair; I could see Shardless trying it in the Disfigure slot. I don't know if it's actually better, but it's certainly worth testing. Don't think it'll be replacing Dismember.

This card is going to warp Modern and Legacy all alone. In a the good direction. More viable archetypes, pushing up Tier 3 decks and pulling down Tier 1 decks. Strongest card printed in the standard environment since RTR.

The "kicker" effect means it'll hit most relevant creatures that don't get summoned from the GY too. I wonder if it's good enough?
