Intruder Alarm is more broken than Paradox Engine IMO, even with permanents over creatures. "Cast a spell" can be a tricky restriction to break, especially in comparison to "comes into play".
Not when you have 0-drops to create free triggers. Or easily recastable spells like Isochron Scepter and Elite Arcanist give you. Strionic Resonator also has combo potential; you only need one spell to set off the combo. Basalt Monolith really benefits from the Engine as you no longer have to pay for its untap cost. Same goes for Mana Vault.
Both Isochron Scepter and Elite Arcanist have activation costs, meaning you will need infinite mana to fuel your infinite cast for your infinite untap. While that is "easily" achievable, say with Basalt Monolith or Mana Vault et al as you mentioned, that is still a 4 card combo you need to assemble to fire off (Paradox Engine + Mana Vault + Isochron Scepter + a spell to exile). Definitely possible, but relatively complicated.
Intruder Alarm goes infinite in 2 card combos, and has way too many 3 card combos to list. Again, just IMO, but a 2 or 3 card combo is significantly easier to assemble than a 4 card combo. Colour restriction is a thing of course.

That is correct
And that's why it's biggest impact is going to be kozilek, the great distortion edh decks (the best choice for colorless Eldrazi edh.)
Because most of the cards are mana tappers with Kozilek you can draw your deck
And you can cast you mana tappers and untap the ones you used for another one.
The Vintage guys might have picked up on this already, but Paradox Engine is nuts in that Vintage Paradoxical Outcome Storm deck. I'm trying it as a 1-of on Cockatrice (the deck has enough ways to tutor for it), and it generates bucketloads of mana when I spam Moxen, draws an extra card with Sensei's Divining Top whenever I cast an instant (tap Top, cast the instant in response, watch stuff untap, tap Top again, possibly pay 1 to hopefully find another instant to chain into, then let everything resolve and draw Top and another card), and keeps untapping Time Vault as long as I can chain spells (note that Paradox Engine + Time Vault + Sensei's Divining Top means infinite turns). You don't need that much and you can Storm off into Tendrils of Agony--even Paradox Engine + Sensei's Divining Top + arbitrary instant gets degenerate quickly.
I'm assuming these last 2 masterpieces will have a normal version as well.
No, this doesn't untap land. Seedborn Muse, Awakening and Prophet of Kruphix are all still better bets in most decks because of this.
It's probably more on par with Unwinding Clock (which is still utterly broken). This is indeed better, and is still busted ten times to Sunday with artifacts and/or Elves, but I don't think it's going to be Seedborn Muse-level degenerate.

Yah, totally. It's still completely nutter butters with stuff like Sol Ring, for sure.
But my point is that Seedborn Muse is pretty much nutter butters with everything, while this is more limited. It's got a higher variance than Seedborn does, in that sense (so it shouldn't end up worth any more than Seedborn long-term).
Just proxied this in my Azami EDH deck last night. It was savage and won the game on the spot on turn 5. I only need 1 generic source of non land mana to get started drawing my entire deck and putting it all into play. Win-more maybe. Maybe just a winning card. I can't say for sure yet, but it seems pretty good to me.

Uh-oh that's good sign for my theory this might get banned in edh.
EDH elves and slivers are going to be bananas with this. Could also be true of modern elves? I doubt that this will see much standard play however so might help keep the cost down.

EDH BRGKresh the BloodbraidedBRG, A box of lands and ideas.
Modern: RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.
So statuary let's things like your clue tokens ramp into eldrazi.. cyptolith rite will ramp, Paradox Engine let's you untapp all of those.. And you can spam void winnowers, ulamogs, and kozileks for days...
Oh and I forgot to mention Emerge .. yeah... I get a feeling we will see Eldrazi decks again...

I guess we're into Hype-rspace because the card is new.
I don't think it's better than Intruder Alarm for what it intends to do. The only versatility it has is its colorlessness. When you think of this card you think of combo. Won't be too worried with my playgroup.
That said, in overall terms, I don't think it's as broken as the other artifacts we've in EDH. Not even sure if it's like top 10 artifacts spectrum. EDH of course.

And the cutest one is Doubling cube
2x Academy Ruins
4x Darksteel Citadel
3x Island
2x Mountain
4x Scalding Tarn
4x Spirebluff Canal
4x Steam Vents
4x Isochron Scepter
4x Izzet Signet
4x Mind Stone
4x Mox Opal
3x Paradox Engine
1x Voltaic Key
4x Dramatic reversal
3x Lightning Bolt
4x Manamorphose
2x Telling Time
Sorcery (4)
1x Grapeshot
3x Reshape
yep, nice toy for Modern Elves, but the big question...2 or 3 in the main? 1 seems too little and a playset seems too much.
