I didn't notice anything about this posted with a quick search, but seems like a good sign of increased print runs on these sets in the future right? Even if it is modest re-release for the holidays.

I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
They likely realized they shotgunned too many products during the summer release season and are trying to fill the big lull between the September Kaladesh release and the Spring Aether Revolt and Modern Masters 2017 release.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
It's probably because they found out distributors have been withholding thousands of boxes of said product; the same for many similar sets. Good move I'd say.
In this day and age of hoarding and speculating, it's good to overestimate the demand and overprint a little more.
They could also be responding to the fact that many players viewed Conspiracy 2 as a "better Eternal Masters set than Eternal Masters." I love that this introduces more copies of these cards into the market, which will continue to drop prices. Because let's face it, outside of a handful of chase cards, the value of the set was extremely mediocre as is. Helping to drive down singles prices is the best thing they can do right now.

Also limited print run, packs costing +$10 bux, LGS holding it only for draft and withholding product. That design is seriously flawed while Consipracy 2 was regular print run and regular priced with BOMB cards. Yeah EMA is the bigger loser and lots of people loved Conspiracy 2, because you can take a dud rare like Hundred-Handed One to the face vs blowing $10 on a pack to get Serendib Efreet.
BUT OMG IN LIMITED SERENDI..... *Batman Slap* SHUT UP! You can't tell me you feel great opening that up when the dude next door opens up a Force of Will. Guy doesn't even have to win the draft.

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
I opened a karakas pack 2 in a draft and split the finals, but was passed the nuts UB splash brago control deck with P1P2 brago P1P3 force of will at eternal weekend.
Seriously though spending $10 on a pack and cracking bulk rare like efreet feels horrible. Wish they'd drop the MSRP on these or print more instead of this limited crap.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
It's kinda weird. Here in Charlotte, you couldn't get 8 guys together for an EMA draft 2 weeks after release, let alone now. Not at any of the 6-7 stores in the greater metro area. I don't get why the sudden 'modest' reprint. But hey, I'm sure somebody is interested in this.

At most the boosters should be $7 and even then that is pushing it, but I have never been for $10 and glad I only buy a few boosters of each Masters set and the rest I get singles. While I was lucky enough to get Jace 2.0 in EMA I know that doesn't happen often.
They need to stop this whole limited print run thing as well. This is getting ridiculous how the Masters line treats these cards like gold and only drips reprints out.
I really wish they had just given us a larger initial print run of Eternal Masters when it came out. Somehow, this feels greedy for them to bring it out again after we all thought it was gone. I dunno, seems weird.
Interesting. This set was quite the flop at my LGS (Europe). The draft was 30€ per seat, compared to the regular 12€, and most of the players came back home with trash. Next week, the LGS barely managed to get 6 guys interested in EMA, while 2 other tables went happily back to the regular set. We already had to suffer the reserved list, and they were still conservative with the value they put in the set. I hope it's a lesson Wizards learnt good for future whatever-masters sets.
He actually is correct. I noticed this trend too right after the announcement. It´s still dropping and reaching 160. Which is pretty insane.
Edit: And as it looks the 9th December is the release of the reprint.
Yep, you guys are right. I think it seems like an overreaction to what might be a veeery small release, but who knows. I'm just glad it gets more affordable.

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
I saw some people questioning the veracity of this new release being an actual reprinting of the set, or if WOTC was simply sitting on the "second wave" of Eternal Masters we never got. If so, they effectively became the hoarders they are trying to squash.

Protection from reason (Decadent_Creed can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by reason.)
No you're dead right on this one. While I don't think you should call WotC hoarders in this aspect, it was probably planned months ahead. The problem only comes when distributors hoard a large proportion, then trickles down to LGS who hoard some, then to eager speculators who hoard abit more. So what's left for actual draft?
And who actually drafts them. There's so many reasons for the fail. High MSRP, low EV, extremely low supply, stupid packaging (increasing cost), lesser packs in that stupid box.
If WotC increases enough supply (deterring hoarders) and lowers the MSRP, I think we could be heading into something good. But as usual, their market research will always tell them otherwise.

It will be a smaller print run than the original was. I doubt it'll even push prices back down to MSRP on packs.

Seriously though, this is really good to see WOTC getting better at addressing the secondary market.
