First Strike
At the beginning of each opponent's end step, that player creates a 1/1 red goblin creature with "Creatures you control attack each combat if able."
"Infiltrate and infuriate!" -Goblin Espionage League motto 2/1
Well, the video already highlights the most important problem (dies to removal, yadayadayada), but, it also has the potential to create a lot of fun chaos. Just wish you didn't have to do a full lap of the table before it becomes effective.
Do your playgroups waste removal spells on X/1 creatures? If anything, this guy is gonna eat a board wipe or die as a consequential side effect of things already being removed(Mass bounce, sweepers, etc). He's honestly pretty forgettable on board because he needs to sit around for 2 turn cycles to get any value at all.
This confirms that there's a French Revolution plane somewhere in the mulitverse. Somewhere, there are goblins singing about the blood of angry men and a relentless orc city guard hunting down a slippery merfolk and his adopted daughter.

I suppose we'll get to see that plane one (more) day. This makes me miserables.
I love the flavor of being given troops that force your entire army into a war you don't want to participate in. Putting the token in at their end step makes it slow though.

It was the best of decks, it was the worst of decks.

"One more card, if I can just draw a land, the spell I need is in my hand"
I like the art.
Rest of it is very disappointing.
Overall it's worse than unplayable Goblin Diplomats on every aspects (flavor, play value, even art).
How is that a spy? I understand the flavor of the tokens being undercover agent but they just do not act like ones to be honest.
I would have preferred a true 'spy design' like:
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player gains control of Goblin Spymaster.
Play with your hand revealed to Goblin Spymaster owner.
You can't attack goblin Spymaster owner unless each non-goblin creature you control is attacking him.
Dude, after all these years have you still not learned how goblins roll? This is as much a "spy" as the former were "diplomats". A goblin spy's mission is right on the flavor text for pete's sake.

My favorite flavor text: Time of Heroes
Feel free to tell me yours!
Would be great if they added "...and cannot attack a player who controls a creature named Goblin Spymaster" to the end of the token text.
That would make it a red Moat once the game is down to two players. This is fine as is, in that it works and gets its point across in a hilarious way even if that way might not be totally competitive.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

You have no idea what NWO means. It's a philosophy that only applies to commons. You think this card is bad? Well, that's your opinion, but bad cards have always existed in Magic history, mostly because there are better cards, by necessity. If this card had such power that you'd call it great, it'd likely make previously made similar cards that you call great "bad", as there would be no reason to play them.
I'm calling it right now- worst rare in the set. Even good limited players will find better bombs at common and uncommon no sweat. Worst. Episode. Ever.
I really do predict this to be our worst rare in set award winner. I'd be happier opening a jar of eyeballs, so I think anything worse is highly unlikely. This card wont just have zero constructed potential, but not be significantly better than a mass of ghouls in a draft.
I feel like people are missing the point of the dude.... he forces people into bad combats. He forces that Blue player sitting with Azami to either tap during their turn (undesireable as you want to be drawing on enemy turns o limit discarding). He forces cards like Kaho to becoming useless. He forces Pillow fort decks to have to swing.
The other thing is that he ensures no blockers... which, combined with the that 4 color that hits other people in the face, is a boon. And not many people tend o run around with Ashnod altars in their deck unless they can use it...

Jeez I don't even know where to begin with this.
First of all, it's a goblin spymaster; the entire point of goblins is that they do things in a very heavy handed and incompetent way. Secondly, how is Goblin Diplomats affecting each one of your opponents in a multiplayer game? How is Goblin Diplomats continuing to affect your opponents after it is removed? How does Goblin Diplomats contribute to Oath of Druids and Defense of the Heart?
Is this card great? No, clearly it isn't. The point is to add some chaos (some may say fun) in to a multiplayer game and ideally force some players with utility creatures to make bad decisions. Worst case you force your opponents to blow removal on a 2/1 for 3.
I absolutely LOVED this card at first, but then I realized I misread it and it says end step...
WHY!?
Like everyone said, now that token has to survive around until the next turn to do anything. You're just handing them a free chump blocker. There's already plenty of abilities that force opponents to attack, this isn't 'too OP' or anything for the cost if it did it at the beginning of upkeep instead like I had though so it would work right away unless they had a wa to sac the token.
Sadly gonna get left out of Queen Marchesa now. Going back to Goblin Diplomats and Maddening Imp.

Indeed that would have made it better.
Sometimes i have the impression their "new order philosophy" is leaking on this commander set

It also works well with stuff like Defense of the Heart and Oath of Druids.
