Am I the only one bothered that this is a 11 Mana Colossus that's a 10/10? I know that Darksteel and Blightsteel aren't the only colossus cards and that 10 is a nice round number, but when it costs 11, I feel like there should be a reference to Darksteel Colossus...
Wow, could be very intimidating in a deck with Haunted Cloak. Just imagine a 10/10 creature with vigilance, trample and haste. Then again there also is Key to the City...
I wonder if we'll get a cheaper double strike enabler than Uncaged Fury this standard?
No trample really hurts this card. Maybe there will be other artifacts in the set that really push this, but would you pay five mana for a vanilla 10/10? I think three or four would be where you would start playing huge vanilla beaters, look at KotR, that card has a very relvant second ability but is just a giant beater for three most of the time and he doesnt see a whole lot of play.

5 mana of any colour or even generic? YES! I mean if it were GGGGG that would be silly.
KotR? Googling it comes up with Knight of the Reliquary this card requires you to play Green AND White. Colossus has no such requirement and can be played in a deck of any colour or even no colour at all.
I think I could see it being abused with the black gearhulk to gain a bunch of life against an aggressive opponent.
Reminds me of salvage titan, but far, far better. Like, this is probably going in vintage workshops as a finisher I'd say and can have crazy implications across all formats.
EDIT: 5 mana vanilla 10/10 is insanely powerful. And this isn't even vanilla since it recurs by sacking artifacts. They answer it once without exiling it? Oops it's back by sacking two servo tokens. Like, what more do you want? KotR got far worse with abrupt decay. Try decaying this '11' drop. If this had trample, it would be absurd beyond belief.

Kotr or any other dummy beater(of which knight technically is not) also dont require you to play a bunch of non creature artifacts either, which is a pretty big deal. sacking servo's and thopters is great and all to get it back, but you still have to be playing non-creature artifacts to discount this, of which so far we really dont have any crazy ones. This card doesnt seem to be enabling anything so far, if it just naturally slotted into an obvious deck they were pushing that would be one thing, but having to build around a card just to power out a cheap more or less vanilla beater without trample hasnt been a winning strategy, and every turn your playing servos and such is a turn your not playing another card to power this out early, along with all the other interaction a standard deck needs to function. So ill wait for the rest of the set and see if this just ends up "slotting" somewhere, but emrakul is still a better boss to build a deck around at the moment.
Imagine you t5 or six this guy, they murder him or ob him or whatever, on the next turn are you going to have dudes to sac and have enough mana to get him back? recursion is nice but it also has to be reasonably attainable, and spending resources to keep playing a dummy every turn doesnt even seem that effective without some kind of evasion. Imagine the current decks right now that still seem viable, emerge can tap him down, or run him into an EMY, or chump him forever with spiders, and thermal burns can kill you long before you can durdle him out. The control decks might have issues with this? I know "dies to doomblade" is an old argument, but this isnt some 2 drop getting killed, its a boss you have to build around somewhat thats "dying to doom blade". Even the emrakul decks wouldnt be good if there wasnt plenty of junk to do in between enabling and Emrakul, and right now AFAIK there isnt a deck in between turn 1 and this guy that makes him worth it.
By the way for everyone. If it had trample this would get banned so fast. Heres why, darksteel forge that's 2 for a 10/10 with indestruable and trample.
I mean, trample would make this thing absurdly good, but not because of Darksteel Forge. That's still a nine-mana card.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
What the hell do people want? If you wanted a keyword, this would have been mythic and played entirely too much (you can curve into this on turn 5 then crew it in dedicated builds). If that noncreature clause wasn't on there, it would get banned in Modern.
Just work with what you got. I got Dovin Baan as a control player and I can't do anything about it but to "try" it.

Every time MaRo mentions Griselbrand he says how people were pissed off the stats and CMC didn't match ... now they went and did it again.
Maybe it's a purposeful troll.
And, flavourfully, it's always kind of funny when giant creatures like this don't have trample, because you'd think their inertia from their size would naturally carry them over any blocking creatures into the PW. When they don't have trample, it's like they're purposely stopping themselves from continuing after squashing a servo or elf, or whatever.
Even with the reduction cost it's a vanilla and I can't image having 5 or 6 noncreature artifacts on my board in this
creaturecentric standard that WotC forces on us.
So in other words... It's a giant, colorless Tarmogoyf in the right deck?

Anyone trying to make a case of why this isn't good and (possibly) multi-format warping is crazy. This guy is really strong. Will see play. I don't know if he'll see play in Standard or not (personally I think he will in the vehicles deck), but definitely in older formats, and probably will be restricted in some of them. I haven't bought a box in years but the value in this set is absurd.

Please don't dare compare it to Goyf which is THE best vanilla creature ever printed and doesn't make jump through any hoops (or have any deckbuilding restrictions, except a light G splash) just to always be a 4/5 or commonly a 5/6 for two mana. The Colossus is terrible and I doubt it will see any play outside Standard. Having a giant turd in hand which requires you to first cast some artifacts (meaning it wont come down until t4-t5) for a card that does absolutely nothing ETB and gets chumped by absolutely any token, Servos and whatever, is not worth it

What the hell are you saying? Like, seriously? This card is completely unplayable outside Standard and is a bin-rare card which I hope I never ever open. Wizards needs to step up their game.

You don't need 5 or 6 artifacts. As someone mentioned, You can play it on turn 5 if you have a single Hedron Archive.
Ooh if ever there was a card to pair with Akroma's Memorial, this is it. Hedron Archive turn 3-4. Next turn Akroma's Memorial then Colossus for 0, including trample and haste. Probably too slow for competitive Modern, but sounds like fun to me!
AHA! Now this is what Im talking about! Cant wait to get this into my grixis artifact edh deck!! Not sure hwat to cut, but this set has so many goodins!!!!
