Aetherborn Marauder 3B
Creature -- Aetherborn Rogue (Uncommon)
Flying, lifelink
When Aetherborn Marauder enters the battlefield, move any number of +1/+1 counters from other permanents you control onto Aetherborn Marauder.
2/2
The Aetherborn Marauder could be cast either before or after Verdurous Gearhulk; the benefit will be the same either way--a 6/6 flying lifelink creature. Not bad.
I like the Aetherborn Marauder's design. It makes me wonder if sometime in the future we'll see a creature that can steal +1/+1 off of your opponent's creatures when it enters the battlefield. They did explore the +1/+1 counter stealing space a little bit with Daghatar the Adamant.
Which one of these guys will get aetherborn tribal deck?
Based on their covetous nature, the Dragonlord Silumgar seems the most obvious flavor fit. Though you could also do it with Sydri since they seem to focus on artifice and +1/+1 counters and Sydri can do both fairly well and call them her patrons. Sydri's the kind of person Aetherborn would patron.
So many people are going to be sad when their aetherborn marauder gets murdered lol
Not a bad card, but I would wanna peek at their hand to make sure they arent saving a kill spell for it before I hamstring myself (not cheaty-face peaking, I mean like duress or peek)

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Thief of Blood. Boom. Steals every counter, not just +1/+1s. That chick slaughters planeswalkers.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)

I would love a remake(ish) of Spike Cannibal that would be fun...
