Oh well, it's better to have a creature with Hexproof and then pump it, rather than this, tacked-on Hexproof doesn't save your creature from a 2-for-1 with removal, ie the inherent weakness of pump spells. Still, cheap pump spells are always good to have in Limited, and maybe this will have use in Infect decks.
Vines of Vastwood, is that you? Costing only G to be a lesser giant growth at the worst while still trading 1:1 with removal makes this probably the most pushed and playable pump (intentionally, not looking at you delve and enabled crony) since vines. Certainly shows you what a better turn aside can be when made big.
The kind of card that you will always know is there and the more you try to play around it the more you get got when you finally do tap out hoping it isn't there.
Good card is good. Only testing will tell if it is good enough for infect. But with that one dude that you pay 3 energy to double his power and toughness, with this spell you get a 6/6 hexproof dude. Not too shabby.

RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.
It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.
I wonder if this is R&D's message that either Mutagenic Growth or Become Immense is going to get banned in Modern, and this is the replacement for Infect decks.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
I suspect this might make an impact in modern. I would consider playing 8 "vines" effects main deck if I played infect. Any infect players out there think they will?

I'm mildly afraid of this myself actually.
That said, it's not like Infect and Death's Shadow Zoo has occupied more than 2 spots total in a top 8 with any kind of consistency, so a ban seems premature to me.

Except Infect is one of the top decks in the format, has been for a long time, and regularly violates the Turn 4 rule.

Bingo. Ranger's Guile has seen a ton of play and this card is even BETTER.
