Aww, man, I thought Unlicensed Disintegration was a modal Murder/Lightning Bolt that I've wanted for a while now. I would have nicknamed it Murderbolt. Still, this is a powerful upgrade to Murder in BR decks using artifacts.
I'm tired of vehicles already. I don't want to be tapping creatures for dumb vanilla creatures.
Wait, a 3/3 flying looter is "vanilla" now? Very few of the vehicles are actually vanilla, and their stats are rather effective. If you follow this thing up with a turn 3 Servos/Thopter maker, you got something pretty nice going on...

Yeah, among others we have a mana rock that turns to 5/5 smasher, or this one that turns into a 3/3 flying looter. Not even mentioning the Ball Lightning vehicle...
Dumb vanilla creatures indeed. Haters gonna hate

I guess you did not even read the card.
I did read the card, I just think it's mediocre. Incidental looting is *okay* but when you have to start tapping your creatures to use your other creatures it's a waste.
This vehicle is like an Artifact "umbra". Protect your little creatures with a 3/3 and loot, then swing next turn and loot.
T2 this
T3 Reflector Mage?
Curious: What would be your ideal one drop in this scenario?
I mean Bant currently doesn't have a T1 besides Oath of Nissa so I guess that I guess. I play UW control currently and usually Anticipate would be the T2 move. You just have to be open to not having a T1 move.

I see. So crew it with the mage.
Exactly. Creatures having summoning sickness don't affect the crew cost. Wide open 3/3 loot with some tempo gained and damage done.

I rather like the fact that it effectively gives your creature haste and a P/T bump most of the time. Also, from what we've seen there's at the very least Start Your Engines to just get value.
If you do use a brand new 1/x the most you are giving up is a blocker for a turn and especially with this one, (given that you get a loot on a block) you're not even giving up a block.
Would you want an equipment that says Equipped creature gets +2/+2 flying and loot on attack/block, Equip: 0, equip only to a creature with power of 1? I could see playing that.

I was thinking of them more like equipment that doesn't need mana to equip. +2/+2 and add flying & loot ability is pretty good.
...but I think you are right that they have an umbra feel as well since they are more likely to be destroyed than the creature used to "crew"

Also, this is just better than that, because if they kill the creature crewing the vehicle, it doesn't fall off. Also, the "equip" can happen at instant speed, so you can always respond to removal by animating the vehicle if you need it that turn. (Also, also, this is better for utility creatures that want to avoid getting into combat in the first place.)
Man, that big looting Thopter seems very strong for T2. Big undercosted Flyer, that makes sure you have good Cards in Hand & Sorcery protection ? only Downside is to have a 1/1 at least in a creautre Deck . . .

Excellent Points.
The greedy part of me wishes that the instant timing would allow us to abuse vigilant creatures for attack & crew, but I think that would be a bit much.
Not with tacked on lifeloss. It would instantly become a strictly better Terminate(Yeah, I'm dismissing regeneration, rarely relevant, and a bolt to the face is strictly better)
