On-topic, I didn't really like Fabricate all that much when it was revealed. It seemed like one of those things that didn't really need to be a mechanic (especially after they just said they're cutting down on named mechanics). However, this and Cultivator of Blades have me coming 'round. These designs are actually really neat. I have no idea how powerful this thing is, but I suspect it will see play in standard. It's hard not to with this much versatility.
So she's four-armed for nothing (like much of the Indian flair in the set), because she apparently can't even swing those swords, what pathetic stats.
Can swing for as much as Serra Angel with lifelink and anthem to boot for the same cost (if you choose counters) with the added versatility of getting tokens instead and being smaller in the right scenario.

It's nice to know that wizards doesn't give a crap a white cards. Keeps me from getting my hopes up. This card should have honestly been 3 or 4 mana.
You think 3 is good for a 4/3 flying, vigilance, lifelinker?? (let alone everything else she can do) I guess you want every card to be as broken as Sylvan Advocate!
4 - maybe. I could see 4, but it's pushing it.
This is better than Serra Angel for the same cost - the one point of toughness loss is minor compared to all the advantages this has over Serra Angel. (Even if it puts it in range of red burn spells)

Well that was very unexciting. I'm sure it's a decent enough card, but I was kind of hoping one of the Angels did something a bit more out there. For the kind of decks I play it doesn't really do much. I really like the art on both of them, but it's hard to justify either of them for me. Guess I'll hope the next block has one that is more out there.
Once again, like I mentioned with the new Hydra: why is wizards obsessed with printing X/3s? It's like they want every creature to live in fear of the dreaded Lightning Bolt and all of its cousins.
The card is cool and will probably see play, but I'm concerned about the Oppressive power of any old removal spell that can snipe mythic creatures with 3 toughness or less. It really takes away from their cool factor when you can just zap them with ease. And it's not like I'm asking for a lot here. Four toughness cuts back a lot of removal but still leaves it open to a lot of other removal as well. 3 toughness puts it in a bad position though.
I guess for limited it's cool? I was really just making fun of her being inept at arm activities, it's not a horrible card, token making is never anything to sneeze at, but I'm just not convinced. And the name is uninspiring. If she invented something cooler than a servo maybe not, but.
I think I'll just pretend she's called angel of invention because she attended the Fair and was drawn to the kiddie area where they make servos and decided hey! i can do it too!
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
The effect on Limited, I would guess. Evasive, anthem, potentially 4-power lifelink for CMC 5? You wouldn't want Gisela showing up a lot in Draft/Sealed, would you? This is pretty close to her level, and arguably more versatile.
Two arms to deal damage
Two arms to gain life

You're right, Glorious Anthem + a 4/3 vigilant lifelinking flier is obviously reasonably costed
Or Glorious Anthem + three creatures
Why so fragile, she could be 2/3 ...

I'm gonna play her anyway.
I really wish she had just one more toughness but this entire card is too aesthetically pleasing to look at for me to pass it up.
THAT ART. Legitimately one of, if not the top of the list, of my favorite angel arts in the entire game. I'm going to find a way to make this work.
Edit: With that name she should have been an Angel Artificer! She would have been so sweet with Inventor's Goggles.

Also, only two mythic rares left - Dovin and the Combustible Gearhulk.
Each of those swords is one point of power. She has two of the turned downward since they are not properly fabricated yet.
It all makes sense! An Angel without swords is a 0/-1.
Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."

T4: Propeller Pioneer + 1/1 Servo
T5: Angel of Invention + 2x 1/1 Servo
Master Trinketeer 4/3
Propeller Pioneer 3/2
Angel of Invention 2/1
3x Servo 3/3
18 power isnt bad for T5, plus whatever you play on turn 1 and 2. Sounds fun, hope white servos/thopters gets more goodies.
