I don't know if this is already known, but I haven't seen it anywhere. Just some new art posted on the Planeswalker profile pages on the mothership. Some of it is probably story-only art, but Ajani's presence along with the rest of the Gatewatch hints at the culmination of the story (possibly in/leading into Aether Revolt). Of course, just because he appears in the story doesn't mean he'll get a card. Changed the title to not spoil people due to forum peek-through - Jay13x
If your question is "What would a judge do is this situation?", only one person's answer is relevant, and that is the Head Judge at your event. I can quote the rules, but I don't know your HJ.
Okay. It looks like Nissa is seeing leylines, or more precisely, the aether fluxes, like the Kaladeshi elves do. Note the blue and green ribbons in her art.
Second image: So there is a happy meeting between Pia and Chandra. Neat.
Third image: Looks like Chandra and Nissa imprisoned
Fourth image: Holy ... again. Tezz, you are looking really sinister.
Fifth image: The surprise. But Ajani has a history with Nicol Bolas, and if the next stop is Amonkhet, it makes sense that he will appear somehow. But I expected to see him there, not already on Kaladesh. Also, I wonder why Chandra is missing from this group shot.

#2, #3 and #4 are almost definitely from actual cards, since files are named KLD_<something>_Gallery.jpg.
Background of #5 looks like tribunes. Gatewatch are fighting on some kind of arena, with Chandra's freedom at stake?
Story seems better than usual. The image of Pia and Chandra together is awesome, they are finally exploring what being a planeswalker mean. I wonder if Pia will die or she will stay alive and try to help her daughter with her gatewatch duty.
The fact that the gatewatch may be split in two teams is interesting, but i don't think it will happen.
And please kill Jace already. I'm tired of seeing him everywhere. Why he had to appear even in Kaladesh?
To confront his old archenemy?

Finally a storyline that isn't so transparent. Maybe we will see better development of Chandra's character this block.
With Ajani joining the party it's going to be much more linkage among existing story plots.
Who knows, maybe Marit Lage will an appearance this time.
Good thing we are seeing some old faces! IAjani, I missed you, you growling furball!
Too bad we are seeing all of the gatewatch trying to save the day... Again... Really, that is geting old... Aren't we really getting ANY set without ALL OF THE GATEWATCH jumping in?
When Wizards decided to change their narrative structure during Origins one of the things they talked about was Magic not having an actual protagonist. They had a lot of characters but none that they could name as their central cast. So they picked five walkers to be their main cast and that's what their rolling with. If people are expecting many sets without the gatewatch prepare to be disappointed for a while. They're the central focus of how Magic approaches storylelling now so most, if not all sets, will likely revolve around them or their story.
The picture with Ajani looks kind of like 4/5 of the Gatewatch just teleported in and photobombed him big time. But it's cool to see Ajani might be joining the Gatewatch, or at least working with them like I've speculated he'd end up doing.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I dn't expect Ajani to get a card already, but I'm pretty happy to see him in addition to Tezzeret. Ajani and Tezzeret together create connections to all dangling storyline threads we can expect to be addressed in the coming years, so this is quite a thrilling turn to the storyline. Ajani also is such a great team player that he's a natural fit for the Gatewatch.
Also we are just Garruk's redemption away for the Lorwyn 5 to make their full appearance in the Gatweatch story!
The art of Nissa and Tezzeret alone seem a little generic(so is the cardnam "Tezzeret's Ambition"). Is Nissa now always having full green eyes? Haven'T noticed that before and thought it was just a side effect of spellcasting visuals, but she seems quite chill in the first art.
I assume o´nly the three named cards are actual storyline spotlight cards? Though the last art seems alright enough to count.

You seem to misunderstand: It's less about having a central cast of five characters and more about the fact that each story seems to deveolve into assembling the whole crew. It would seem that having two or three members sit out each block (except maybe for conclusions of a multi-block story arc) would give the audience some time to grow expectant of their return.
No one realistically expects the Gatewatch to be entirely left out of a block anytime soon, but having the entire Gatewatch every block is the other extreme and can lead to unfavorable oversaturation.
A little absence makes the heart grow fonder. And it doesn't need to even be a whole year. Won't we rest until this is a card illustration?

If chandra is missing, alongside the really pushed card, perhaps we do not see anymore chandra for a time. She does not have to die, but if her mother is alive perhaps she wants to spend some time on the plane.

Indeed. If we're going full on Avengers here, you have to take the Marvel Universe (as it pertains to the members of the Avengers) as a whole. You don't just get five Avengers movies in a row. You get an Avengers, then an Iron Man, then a Captain America, then another Avengers. While you might see one or two of the other Avengers pop up in the movies for other members , you never see ALL of them in any movie that's not AVENGERS as a team.
Gatewatch is rapidly approaching all Avengers in every movie proportions.
Thwy really need to set their artists straight on Nissa. Is she dark tan like Nissa, Worldwaker or disgustingly pale like that first art?
Tezz too bad ass. (Also on a mostly unrelated note not only an I jacked for Tezz to be back but I'm really hope they bring back Dr. Jest )
In that last art I'm not sure that's Kaladesh. I mean I have no idea why there would be art of Amonkhet out in the wild but Wizards recent track record with keeping stuff under wraps hasn't been great.
Edit: People, people chill. Don't forget that not every walker that shows up in the story gets a card. Ajani is almost definitely not going to be in card form in Kaladesh. Dovin and Tezz are the walkers remaining for the block. Not sure how they plan to release them but I'm pretty much certain on this.

Well, I suppose it's made of some kryptonite equivalent that prevents their abilities.
Is it just me or did Tezzeret got super old? He needsto lose that cloak and grow that beard back. Still a badass though.

It has an annoying sound that prevents them from concentrating. That is why they are so irritated and desperate to get out.

Ajani might join the Gatewatch and the only question is: Will Oath of Ajani be full naya colors?
I secretly ship Ral x Jace... and Nissa x Chandra... :">That pic of Chandra and Pia is so heartwarming.

2nd sets may as well be "2nd set: a.k.a. Jacetice League assemble!"
But Ajani was someone I did not expect to return at all in this block. Honestly... /Joanne
