The implications of Rashmi independently inventing planar portals without herself being a planeswalker is huge. The previous portal tech was handed down from planeswlkers who understood the nature of planar travel in a way that non planeswalkers couldn't. The big roadblock to the New Phyrexians becoming a serious power in the multiverse is their loss of the old planar portal tech. With Tezzeret showing up and judging inventions, and his connection to both New Phyrexia and Nicol Bolas, I feel like they're building up to the Phyrexians getting set loose in the multiverse again.
I wonder if this has a place in Affinity in modern as draw and board protection? If your deck is Made up of a number of permanents that cost 0 to cast, the drawback of having too full of a hand by your next end step isn't going to be a problem.

I was literally *just* about to make this same point-
in Affinity, this could very easily read 3U: draw 3-6 cards.

Seems like a decent card in the Fabricate deck. Just always choose servos and you get some card advantage in exchange for tempo.
It says nontoken.
Which is why you choose Servo. You have a creature for when you bounce back your fabricate dudes.
I did read the card.
Didn't sound like it, you should have articulated better. Because it sounded like you wanted to bounce the servo tokens and not the actual fabricate cards.
Watch your thoughts, for they become words.

Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

For what it's worth: You both made mistakes. Now you both go out there and learn to communicate better.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

I could see this being run as a straight up value card in those UW decks. You often have like 2 walls just sitting on the field doing nothing. 4 mana instant speed draw 2 and rebuy both walls (after they've been assigned chump duty no less) seems respectable. The only issue I think it has is the 4 cmc slot is already clogged up with cryptic, resto and wraths.

Yeah, my first thought with it too. Wouldn't be difficult to tune an affinity deck in a way that really maximizes this and makes it absurd. Not sure that build is better than the typical build, but it could be breakable that way.
Oh! I might splash blue in my modern elf combo deck

11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature. - Maximillian Cohen.
For any judges/rules gurus out there: Imagine I have lunar force out, my opponent casts a spell, lunar force's trigger goes on the stack, can I respond by bouncing LF to me hand and still counter the spell? The ruling on LF says that the spell will be countered even if LF can't be sacrificed, so I think it should work? It's obviously a janky interaction that won't see competitive play, but I was just wondering if it worked...

It also makes for a fun lead-in to Hypergenesis.
