No, but these are likely to be the ones that do. Liliana is obviously a major player in the set, but she just got a card last set, so she won't be getting one now. Also, there is literally no possible way Chandra is not getting a card. If it's been long enough for Chandra to get a reprint, then it's been long enough for Nissa to get a reprint, which is essential, as the story doesn't appear to have any other green walkers. Dovin is going to get a card, as he was just introduced, with a planeswalker profile and everything. That leaves one walker slot open, which I'm going to put my money on Tezzeret, because A) he looks to be the villian of this block, and B) unlike Chandra, Liliana, and Nissa, it's been several years since we got him in card form.

The problem is that if we consider Test of Metal canon, Tezz will kick Jacetice League's butt easily. But then again, the book is highly... controversial.
I've never read Test of metal but didn't Jace basically kill Tezzeret by himself? Did Bolas give him that much of an upgrade?
I can totally see Tezzeret being the bound between blocks, Kaladeck and Bolas realm. But for them (wizards) making secret of Tezzeret in a flavour text it would make people upset if he is not in the block.

Jace defeats Tezz in Agents of Artifice, not Test of Metal.
So with this whole kaladesh thing going on and pia in the set of like to see their take on kiran alone. I'd also like to see a potential hangarback walker just to keep it in standard. That card goes in so many decks it's not even funny and it will fit with the story.
Okay, so it looks like this is going to be our Walker breakdown of the block.
Nissa G
Chandra R
Saheeli UR
Dovin WU?
Tezzeret UB?
That gives us the following color distribution:
W: 0.5 U: 1.5 B: 0.5 R: 1.5 G: 1
Kind skewed. Dovin actually needs to have a W component. Otherwise, W won't have anything.
Seems just about perfect. A R/U plane with a strong G. black not a big deal except the aetherborn and W may be more influence with a tezz @ W/U/B
Although Tezz could be just W/U and there be another planes walker of mono B aetherborn style....hmmmm
So I understand that Sarkhan altering time for Ugin is solely on Tarkir, but where does that leave him and Tezz? Did the time altering change anything about Bolas's actions? What I'm trying to ask, really, is if Sarkhan was ever under Bolas's employ after the time altering, and does this time altering affect Bolas in any way?
Tezzeret was the one thing I most wanted from the block. So excited he's actually in it. I just prsy he stays dimir instead of Wizards BSing out a reason for him to be esper since we haven't had an esper walker yet.
He has been esper in duels for a while now, the same game where Tamiyo is bant so don't be storied if he is esper.
Oh I will be utterly livid. Leave it to Wizards to give me the one thing I most wanted in a set..and promptly ruin it in order to check a box off on a list.

Because it would feel forced, just like it did with Tamiyo, they're going to push a reason to make it make sense (oh, he's the head judge so he has white in him now). Other than being from Esper, there is really nothing white about him, even ignoring that white can be villainous. If they do it it is literally just to cross WUB off the list of walker color combinations they haven't done yet. And given that I have been wanting a new U or UB Tezzeret to run, yeah I'd be pretty damn upset if I don't get to run him. He is easily one of my favorite walkers, Jace and Ashiok rounding out the top 3 with him more or less interchangeably.

Sarkhan is now an anomaly, when he changed the past of Tarkir he inadvertently made a future where he was never born. Yet he still exists and there is evidence that his past actions on other planes is still there, since he was one of the three planeswalkers that freed the Eldrazi in the Eye of Ugin on Zendikar and BFZ showed us that the Eldrazi were still free roaming all over Zendikar. I'd wager that Bolas still doesn't yet know that Sarkhan went back in time and saved Ugin. So as far as Bolas is concerned, nothing has changed.
So will Kaledesh be the first to fall to a NEw Phyrexia???

Tezzeret was born on Elspeth, spend almost his whole life on Esper, and learned magic and artifice on Esper. It would make perfect sense for him to be esper-colored. Also Tezzeret is not a villain, he's more of an antihero, and he doesn't serve Nicol Bolas from his own free will - heck he tried to kill the dragon several times, but never succeeded.
Tezzeret is a huge villain, one of the first things he did after getting introduced was to kill someone in cold bold. Tezzeret looks out for number one, and only number one (I.e. himself), and has absolutely no qualms about killing people who gets in his way.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

Also Tezzeret is not a villain, he's more of an antihero, and he doesn't serve Nicol Bolas from his own free will - heck he tried to kill the dragon several times, but never succeeded.
Tezzerert was born on Elspeth? Thats news to me... and probably news to her as well. Had no idea she had a son. /jk
Last I checked, he was born in Tidehollow on the shard of Esper, in Alara.
But yeah am interested to see him back. And if they make his abilities unique, don't mind if the make him Esper-colours or not.
I just don't think him being from Esper is really a good justification for him suddenly having white in his color identity. Hell, even him learning his artifice on Esper isn't that great a justification. That's borderline as bad as Wizards's reasoning behind Sarkhan suddenly being blue.
Not really sure, mechanically, what I really want from a new Tezzeret though. Seeker is great because he can fetch up Jitte, Swords, Top, Sol Ring, etc. and can help ramp me a bit or give Metamorph pseudo-vigilance. Agent doesn't guarantee me anything on his +1, but it works nicely in conjunction with Top (either getting a draw off of Top and then using him to get Top back, or to just cycle through more of my deck in order to dig deeper with Top) and can find stuff on his own well enough. And his -1 turns Darksteel Ingot into one of the best creatures in my deck, and gives me a way to actually remove problem artifacts on the other side of the board if I need to. And I've won off of his ultimate more than a couple of times.
So trying to think of what role new Tezzeret could fit. Not really sure I see him creating an equipment card, though that would be kinda nice (that was more Nahiri's thing). Possibly more artifact animation stuff, or maybe turning things into artifacts (he did spend a lot of time with the Phyrexians). Possibly similar effects to Agent's ultimate, stuff that scales based on how many artifacts you have?
Also, somewhat unreleated, weren't we supposed to have Dovin's card spoiled at PAX? So would today, presumably, be the day we see him?
Tezzeret? Yes.. yes.. YES!!! Ahem... about the cards, I think the artist did a pretty amazing job with pia, it really feels like something, or rather someone is missing in the picture...
Construct is very interesting and flexible, but I doubt it'll shake up constructed much.
And if you do see a body, they may not be dead anyway.
Ha, true enough! It wouldn't shock me if Pia started experimenting with aether to try and reassemble her husband, though she'd be heading into some really B territory there... But cyborgs are cool, m'I'right?
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
So basically on the pod racing plane of Kaladesh we learn of a dark Sith Lord under the guise of a Head Judge. That clearly explains why the Guardians of the Multiverse will visit B-Dog Bolas' crib next set.

Thank you both for the clarification. I love time travel stories but it's really difficult to keep track of what ripple effects happen. That's cool, then. Everything is still in its place, then. I feel like Tezz is there to find an inventor who made something specific (probably that transporter from last week's story), but I'm curious how long he's been there to become a judge of renown.
