Conveniently, curves perfectly into casting and cracking a Woodweaver's Puzzleknot. Swings for 14 trampley damage on turn 5.
Probably not, as it checks how often you get energy counters, not how many. So unless you get energy counters on multiple occasions, he'll only get +2+2.

It would only be a 6/6. You get +2/+2 whenever you gain one or more energy, not for each energy gained. You gain three energy twice, so it triggers two times.

With a name like this I was hoping for a minute for a land destruction or mana restriction spell. But no, this is 2016, and stopping people casting stuff is bad.

People with belligerent signatures are trying to compensate for something....
Flavor text: it is known that some inventors capture gremlins with the intention of releasing them on rivals. This plan sometimes blows up in their face
Gremlins are more for artifact-heavy sets, I'd guess.
Also, this isn't an atog. An atog would be something like
Thermatog1R
Creature—Atog
E: Thermatog gets +2/+2 until end of turn.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Their hosts are dead, but Intro Pack rares are alive and well.
Thanks for the laugh. This is one of the funniest things I've read here in recent memory. A classic my friend. And I say that truthfully.

Why? Because it would be really, really good with this?
You gain energy counters by playing spells that are in Kaladesh, that you can think of a past mechanic that has synergy with it does not mean it might be coming back.
If anything, knowing how WotC is (rightfully) afraid of busted things, it might mean it's less likely.
EDIT: some kind of bug when quoting posts? The post I quoted was saying how this card reinforced the poster's belief that proliferate was coming back.

Maybe in Amonkhet. None of the named mechanics in this block are returning mechanics.
