Certainly looks playable in an Energy deck. You get 6 energy for the price of 5 mana, which I think is a good rate. In a vacuum this seems fine, we will know more about its true potential late, I'm sure.
Are u guyz kidding? right? this on turn 2, sac this on 3, cast Aetherworks Marvel on 4th turn tap it and get Emrakul/Ulamog/Kozilek in standart!!! OMG!
*Great sideboard card* LOL
Oh yes. And get back 6 HP u have lost during 4 turns.
People were asking for efficient energy generation?
Go green energy!
Hmm. Something about this screams "cycle" to me - maybe it's just the "[vaguely color-related descriptor] noun" set-up. Seems Spellbomb-y. Guess it depends whether Energy is focused in any pair or trio of colors, where they'd want more common Energy production, or if it's something that's plentiful across all colors, and it's just a question of how much you want to focus on it.
Also, this powers Aetherworks Marvel by itself (with an extra counter for being sacrificed in the process). Seems vaguely plausible in an Eldrazi deck (especially since it offers life total padding and helps with delirium/Emrakul).

Could it be there are comming good burnspells? This is the second artifact that gives you life.
Hope so. Red so far hasn't really shown any great red cards outside Saheeli, and she's U/R. Thermo Alchemist has shown it can win with sub standard burn spells. Pair that with Saheeli and efficient burn...Izzet returns as a great deck.

Your right - turn 5.
Turn 2: Dork
Turn 3: Marvel
Turn 4: Panharmonicon
Turn 5: puzzleknot + free emrakul.
Honestly they can do it on turn 4 without Panharmonicon because they can cast and sac the puzzleknot with 5 mana.
A 1-drop fabricate (which I expect in White: 0/1 Fabricate 1) with Cryptolith rites world work. Then you can Panharmonicon and Puzzle knot on turn 4, and then you are halfway to the next freebie on turn 5.
I somehow find it tragic when an attacking Traveling Philosopher gets blocked by another Traveling Philosopher, which normally results in two dead philosophers. Shouldn't they just sit aside and start discussing?
"This is really exciting, so much to find out about, so much to look forward to, I'm quite dizzy with anticipation . . . Or is it the wind? There really is a lot of that now, isn't there? And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming toward me very fast? Very, very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide-sounding name like . . . ow . . . ound . . . round . . . ground! That's it! That's a good name- ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me? Hello Ground!"
Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the Sprouting Phytohydra as it fell was Oh no, not again.
In case you don't hit emrakul the first time, it makes your next attempts more efficient. For example, you could turn 4 marvel into the Panopticon and cast a 2nd puzzleknot and have enough right then to activate the marvel again next turn.
Good combo decks have redundancies.

The card is tough to evaluate without knowing the full capabilities of energy,
but it seems like it could be playable.

Turn five, unless they make a new 1-Drop, mana dork. Cheapest ones right now are Deathcap Cultivator, Ulvenwald Captive, and Hedron Crawler. Loam Dryad is cheaper, but requires even more effort.
Turn 2: Dork
Turn 3: Marvel
Turn 4: Panharmonicon
Turn 5: puzzleknot + free emrakul.

turn 3 - sacrifice puzzleknot
turn 4 - marvel = emrakul
Why add more if 2 cards are enough?
In case you don't hit emrakul the first time, it makes your next attempts more efficient. For example, you could turn 4 marvel into the Panopticon and cast a 2nd puzzleknot and have enough right then to activate the marvel again next turn.
