While that would be a cool flavor tie-in, this isn't Suspend vs. Snow.
Are the 2 mutually exclusive? I know its a stretch, but its not inconceivable. We will know soon.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
The seeming suspend theme in Mind may support the one of the more popular "mythic vanilla" theories. The theory goes that the mythic vanilla hinted at on Blogatog has no mana cost, and can only be cheated into play. Many have looked a the timing and found that a card put into the design file around the time of the comment would be coming to print near-ish Amonkhet or Hour. Amonkhet would then have a theme of cheating dudes into play somehow, representing either the gradually approaching Tests and apocalypse, or Bolas's newfound portal technology. The set would also contain Epocrasite-like cards that reward non-traditional casting. Jhoira fits into this as her suspend ability can also serve as an enabler for these cards, and could fit with some "countdown to armageddon" type mechanic.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
That wording would imply that they've reissued errata on Lovisa Coldeyesagain. I've lost track of whether she gives herself her own bonus by now (she did, then she didn't, then she did, then she didn't... now she does again?).
Pretty sure Lovisa never buffed herself, since she's never been a Barbarian, Warrior, or Berserker
She changed when they went on the great creature type update, and became a Berserker Lord.
And then, when they went on the purge to stop Lords giving themselves their own bonuses she became a Berserker Lord that gave other Berserkers the bonus (as she never got her own bonus under the original wording). So we went full circle.
And now she's not even a Berserker. At least it doesn't change how she rolls this time (and it still doesn't make a difference to how she works in my Warrior Tribal deck).

To be clear, the decision to have "lords" have the appropriate creature type was made around Ninth Edition (see Goblin King). The decision to errate Lovisa into a Berserker and the errata to have her only buff "other" creatures were both made during the Grand Creature Type Update. This quote suggests that theMarc is correct; there was never a time when Lovisa buffed herself:
Goblin King never affected itself because it wasn't a Goblin for the first decade or so of its life. When it was reprinted in Ninth Edition as a Goblin, its template was changed so that it would continue to not affect itself—it now affected "other" Goblins. A number of cards got similar errata as part of this update to preserve their functionality as much as possible. They are: Zombie Master; Kobold Drill Sergeant; Kobold Overlord; Orc General; Anaba Ancestor; Faerie Noble; Thopter Squadron; Kangee, Aerie Keeper; and Lovisa Coldeyes. In addition, Elephant Graveyard now regenerates only Elephants because Mammoth no longer exists. (All Mammoths are now Elephants, so Elephant Graveyard interacts with the same cards that it always did.)
Now, I suppose there was some time after she was printed, but before the Creature Type Update where she received errata to go against what they did for Gobling King, but I think that is unlikely.

Oh wow, there you go... cheers!
I recall having to tap-dance with the Oracle wording a little with her at points, and I had a sense that the word "other" had been in and out a little... man, if only they had the WotC internal Oracle updates available somewhere online... (although, it's probably a good thing they aren't... they'd be fascinating, and I'd spend an inordinate amount of time reading them instead of working).
This could just have junk and Snow-Covered Mountains for Lovisa's half and it will sell like mad.
EDH really wants more snow lands around.
Definitely. Snow lands could certainly use a reprint.
Indeed. I hope to see the day where snow-lands (and other snow permanents) get their own special frame treatment (like enchantments in Theros block). The same goes for the artifact lands.
Not complete decklists, but a general idea of what we might see in these decks.

I had an idea awhile back to make these more appealing. Instead of making them for new players and trying to achieve the same goal as the "Planeswalker" deck intro packs, make these appeal to "all" players by adding *New* cards to the set; similar to the Commander Deck Series, and make the decks more tailored to do battle instead of making them a bunch of 1-ofs that hardly work.
Adding new flavorful cards to the themes of the decks would not only support the sales for all players and not just new; while also keeping it exciting and could provide opportunity for new cards to be released for those casual and Commander like formats (and legacy I suppose).

While this would be intresting it would become soon a nightmare, immagine if a card similar to True-Name Nemesis would be released only this way and it would not be included in 4 copies.

Yeah, it will be just a matter of time before something like that happens.
I see no problem with the DDs how they are now, but I would very much like to know why they increased the price on them.

I'd rather see old and fun cards that haven't been printed in the past two years.
Let's hope. This theme is so generic that they might include really old cards there (mainly Balduvians, when Lovisa is present, Keldons and other Magic barbarians), if they would keep thematically with Jhoira, lots of old "Tolarian" or otherwise Weatherlight saga-related cards.

Yeah, it will be just a matter of time before something like that happens.
I see no problem with the DDs how they are now, but I would very much like to know why they increased the price on them.
Probably to justify an increase in the value in them, like they did with MM2 which as we all remember had less value in it than the one before it.
In the end this will be the same stuff we've been stuck with the last few years. $5-$10 less value than the DD is priced at while they sit on shelves for 2 or 3 years.

While we can all hope for Wizards to wise up a bit more, and they have when it came to MM3, I'm still not 100% convinced that they have fully learned from the suggestion, complaints, and criticisms about these products and reprints in general.

Given the typical market value of the duel decks, I do not have high hopes for the new one unless Ancestral Vision itself managed to sneak it's way into the duel decks along with snow lands. Could you imagine what would happen if they stuck Mishra's Bauble in there as a two of in one of the decks?

Being able to find them at big box stores and such can be easier said than done unless you know someone that works there that can give you a heads up on when they stock the products or live nearby so you can be continually checking in on it. Products with a much higher value than MSRP tend to still be nearly impossible to find at such places because everyone who knows of the value difference will be looking to scoop them up either to keep or to re-sell at a higher price online. I know in the last few years I would check in from time to time at such places to see if any of the good stuff was in, and rarely were any of the high value products actually available, all of the lesser valuable ones certainly were, but the good ones were sold out 98% of the time.
It is true though that increased availability like that will at least give the option/potential to be able to get them at msrp in such an instance, but there will be extreme competition to grab any/all of them in such instances so it could be more difficult than most people think. And at least from what I've found around here, asking if they have additional stock in the back is either met with a no what we have is what you see, or with a comment about someone else stocking the product every now and then and no they don't know when they will be in. Might be different other places, but that's what I've heard about/experienced for around here.
