In the lower right hand corner of this picture from the Warez Games Preview Draft is a conspiracy that wasn't on the spoiler yet.

Before drawing your opening hand, choose 1, 2, or 3. You may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to cast creature spells with converted mana cost equal to the chosen number.
So you can "splash" low-cost creatures from any color, so long as they're all of the same converted mana cost? Very interesting. That could lead to some powerful drafting strategies without completely screwing with how you build your deck, like a Worldknit or Sovereign's Realm.
Right, but you have to choose a number before you draw your opening hand. I suppose it depends on your draft. If you got a good mix of two-drops, I could see picking two.
Depends entirely on your curve. This is insanely interesting during drafting because let's say you pick up all the offcolor 2 or 3 drops, but only 2 or 3 drops. Then you essentially get to play all the best 2 or 3 drops. Don't see this happening for 1 drops because you don't pick up a lot of 1 drops in draft typically in comparison to 2 or 3.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
Yeah, the part where you pick before drawing is to prevent you from just using it to smooth out your mana for whatever is in your opening hand. It's intended to shape your deckbuilding and drafting. Really cool card. It could be very intriguing in cube, too.
