It's quite a fine card. Of course it's slightly underwhelming, it's White card draw. When you compare it to the Red counterpart, the other color that should be getting underwhelming card draw, this compares quite favorably.
Which honestly kinda pisses me off on how bad the Red one is. But hey, at least Red can goad and have melee? Meh.
I'm so aware that this is an old thread, I just found out that on MTGO this is a $6 card and I'm confused why. I see that it mainly gets play in pauper format and with the Ox being used as an alternative I'm still confused. Would it be people buying it in hopes that conspiracy gets played online? Or is it that is the only way to get the card in the first place like the Ash Barrens that is another $5 card.
Just totally confused here.

This is a necro, but it's also a legit question. Verbal warning/no points.

Palace Sentinels appears to only be available online through Treasure Chests. I don't know what that means, but likely it has a low print count compared to the number of people playing pauper. It provides a unique effect that is very powerful in the right deck/matchup.

This is correct; there's very little supply on MTGO because it was released only through treasure chests. The Conspiracy sets don't exist on MTGO; new cards that appear in Conspiracy and Commander sets and not anywhere else are only available through treasure chests.
The recent spike was a response to the new chest distribution list, which removed Sentinel entirely from the rotation.

They can't all be winners and at least this replaces itself.

Pillarfield Ox was a trash only good for insults, whatever.

Please do not mess with Pillarfield Ox. He is the boss.
This card is clearly inferior compared to dear Pilly Oxy. Everything is sup-optimal compared to him.

2. Don't necro. Start a new thread next time. This one's just gonna get locked, and you're not gonna get your answer this way.
It appears the be the only card of meaningful value in that deck. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/pauper-kuldotha-boros-21706#online
On paper the card is dirt cheap.
