With this card, we have conformation that there's Monarch cards in each color. It's probably not a surprise, but I thought I'd point that out.
That's what makes me the most happy about this, but it's a cool card nonetheless, so much better than the red common version.
Repeatable draw is out of red's pie, though, and green creatures are inherently better.
Kind of silly though that there are so many variants on the same card: 5 mana 4/4, "You become the monarch", some minor ability that depends on if you're the monarch or not.
It's not bad....
it replaces itself in the first turn while making harder for your opponents to take away your monarchy.
it's a nice common for limited and conspiracy is all about limited, so, sign me up.
very nice filler common which you'll likely play every time you manage to get it halfway though your pack if you're playing green.
Becoming the monarch is a pretty strong effect, and this card also protects your status as monarch by blocking multiple creatures. I think this is a great card.

Entourage of Trest can block an additional creature each combat as long as you are the monarch.
