People realize that with Maelstrom Pulse, it kills everything but legends, right? The Pulse destroys every permanent with the same name as a non-land permanent. Forest and Plains are still in its name, even though they're lands, and the Pulse says to destroy every permanent, not non-land permanent. It'll destroy every thing that has a non-Legendary name, including the Spy Kit and most land.
It has the name of all creature cards, though. There aren't any creature cards named "Forest" or "Plains".
Also, Exclusion Ritual seems really fun with this. I'm going to enjoy my shenanigans.
It doesn't do anything with Exclusion Ritual. Imprint cares about the values on the imprinted card, and that's never going to be anything but what's printed on the card, (barring something silly like Look at Me, I'm R&D, seeing as there is (currently) no way for an exiled creature to still be holding a piece of equipment.

Yeah because "forest" is absolutely the same as "forest BEAR"
Please think before you post.
I'm pretty sure his post was meant to be sarcastic, I think the would have tipped most people off.
Regardless, I love cards like this, just so many possibilities with old weird cards to do strange things. It's going to be an absolute nightmare trying to explain how things like this work to newer players though...I suppose it's a good thing they print these kind of things in supplementary sets.
Would it work with Exclusion Ritual? It'll lose all it's names while it's in exile, and because Exclusion Ritual explicitly imprints I don't know if it'll remember that it had every name when it got exiled.
I'm totally loving this card. It's ridiculously broken. There's gonna be combos that allow you to basically search your library for all your nonlegendary creatures thanks to one of your creatures being equipped with this. I love it when cards that should be in Un-Sets slip through the cracks and come out black-bordered. Now all we need is a black-bordered Robot Chicken and Magical Hacker and I'll be set for life! Since this is multiplayer, Organ Harvest should definitely see a black-bordered reprint.

Amusingly with this, Verdant Succession, and Ashnod's Altar not only can you tutor all of your green creatures out of your deck for ETB effects, as long as you have Barishi and Riftsweeper, you can loop this as much as you want.

RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.

Does this affect the equiped craeuteres abiltys that reference it's Own Name like Permeating Mass?
No, for two reasons. One, it still has the name "Permeating Mass". Second, and most important, whenever a permanent refers to its own name, it really means "this object". So, even if the name of the card is not Permeating Mass (if it was being cloned by Sakashima the Impostor for example) the ability would still work fine.
Random question, how does this work with Grandeur, like on Korlash, Heir to Blackblade? Would Grandeur read discard any non-legendary creature to get the effect?
I don't think it would work that way, doubling chant says "for each creature you control, you may search your library for a creature..." I think this would mean that if you controlled only one creature on the battlefield and that creature had a Spy Kit equipped then you'd only be able to search for one non-legendary creature, since doubling chant only allows you to search for a single creature card for each creature you control. Though I could be wrong, I checked the gatherer and couldn't find any rulings relevant to this scenario.
read the card.... it specifically says non-legendary

Also, using Bazaar of Wonders seems strong.
*Edit* Killing with Shaman of the Pack allows you to utilize Elvish Soultiller to recycle the yard reducing the necessary deck slots
