How would this actually work with card's like Remembrance?
I understand that if the cards says search for a cards with the same name it works, but, my real question is that some of the cards mentioned in previous comments don't actually say search for a card with the same name. They say search for a copy of this card. Wouldn't that mean that you search for a copy of the actual creature? Or is it that you actually do get to search for any non-legendary creature. . . I'm confused.

See the oracle text of the card in question (and all the similar cards): Whenever a nontoken creature you control dies, you may search your library for a card with the same name as that creature, reveal it, and put it into your hand. If you do, shuffle your library.
It is probably more complicated than that though. It is not one big name, it has multiple names so Wordmail is trying to apply thousands of different values at the same time. That might mean that you choose one value, it might mean you add them all together, it might mean you pick the highest value, perhaps something else. My guess would be you pick one name when it gets attached/comes into play similar to how multiple attribute setting effects override eachother.
It would work just like revealing Fire//Ice off Dark Confidant: you require a single numerical value, so you use the sum.
Kathals guess was not far off at all. As of EMN, there are 34,554 total words in all names.

Well then, I guess I know what cards will go well in my non-competitive Bruna, the Fading Light deck. . . Thank you sir.

Does this work with Eradicate? As in, if my opponent has that equipped to a creature somehow, and I cast that, does it exile all creatures from his deck?
If so, that is so delightfully evil... and I love it
Edit: Hand, graveyard, AND deck... Huh, that could be crazy. Doesn't remove the ones from the field except for the one you targeted, but still haha

It works. You can either Magnetic Theft the Spy Kit to one of their creatures or donate one of your equipped creatures. Isn't it awesome?
If you want to clean the board, just use Sever the Bloodline.

If you're planning to search up Gisela, The Broken Blade, make sure the real Bruna's on the field as well, or it won't end well for Gisela.
considering the eqipment has absolutly no interaction with those two, its safe to search up another Gisela once your first one dies
They do interact, but not favorably. Gisela will look for Bruna, and will find the creature holding the spy kit. Then, once they're both exiled, they'll check to see if it's the right two creatures so they can meld. However, unless the creature wit the spy kit was the real Bruna, it won't have other half of Brisela on the back, so Gisela and the hapless former spy will hang out in exile forever.

Modern - Death & Taxes
Commander - Mazirek, Trostani, Angry Omnath
Also, Eradicating a Spy-Kitted enemy creature would only exile all nonlegendary creatures from their library, graveyard, and hand. Still awesome. But the legends will remain.
People realize that with Maelstrom Pulse, it kills everything but legends, right? The Pulse destroys every permanent with the same name as a non-land permanent. Forest and Plains are still in its name, even though they're lands, and the Pulse says to destroy every permanent, not non-land permanent. It'll destroy every thing that has a non-Legendary name, including the Spy Kit and most land.

It has the name of all creature cards, though. There aren't any creature cards named "Forest" or "Plains".

Too right. Thank you - missed that. Also nixes interactions with the Empire artifacts and Kaldra equipment.

No, I understand that, but it can get me Thalia's Lancers, Protector of the Crown, Peacekeeper, Mother of Runes and much much more. Also, Exclusion Ritual seems really fun with this. I'm going to enjoy my shenanigans.

How does this help cards immensely to be put in edh?
Flavor is interesting too... you get to benefit from all Conspiracies when you have this Kit.
