Really disappointed she ended up orzhov rather than dimir, the latter making more sense for a "between the cracks" rogue that is also an assassin. But also happy that she's not very good because she's not the colors I wanted.
Not quite sure why the 0 ability needed the life loss. I would think having to wait until your next upkeep to get the card back (so you can't keep chaining her abilities) would be drawback enough.
Edit: Just saw that it can hit your opponent's creatures as well. That makes it better. Still not sure about the life loss.
She gives a creature and her the ability to blink, this walker is going to be hard to kill. 4 for 5 loyalty is good, the other ability are helpful (you get the two life back you lose from blinking).
Interesting card.
I'm happy with her. Getting a creature out of the way for a bit is nice, but since she comes back with her full starting Loyalty, she can "refuel" after using her -1 or -2 a few times or to recover after being attacked. She'll be tough to actually get rid of
Does Exiling herself re-set her back to 5 loyalty? If so i think she will be under the radar enough that you can really get some good mileage out of her, but also seems kinda slow doing so
Oh yeah, you blink her or a creature to keep her from being attack and accomplish..what? Like you play her, blink a creature, lose 2 life, then that creature comes back your next turn and you either have to blink it again to protect her again or use a different ability and completely defeat the purpose of having blinked the creature in the first place? Or you blink her, and then blink her again and do nothing but lose life with her over and over.

Edit: Question answered above me
I believe it would because I would be a new object upon reentering the battleifield

Since the creature you blink that belongs to your opponent doesn't come back until YOUR next turn, it can remove an opponents blocker on the turn you blink it, and you've removed their attacker when it's their turn. That's what you've accomplished. If all you're doing is blinking her to protect herself. then yes, you've accomplished nothing, but does it really need to be pointed out how dumb that is? No one would elect to do that.
Glad it was pointed out that her loyalty resets when she comes back. I would have realized that eventually
I like her, the abilities are nice, and glad to see she is W/B. Her characterization def fit those colors, the colors of life and death. I feel for her to be U/B, she'd need to be a bit more aloof and drop the 'Life is for the Living' creed.
Overall, she's a planeswalker I'd like to see more of in future stories.

Yes, but did you like...purposely ignore that I was directly responding to a post about her dodging attacks? You really aren't accomplishing that much in doing so.
You are gettin gack to 5 LP on the planeswalker, of course it needs that life lose. Additionally imagine if you have a ETB trigger when the creature you exiled returns, you may get an additional creature/life gain/or another effect just for flicking another creature jsut for 2 life.
Technically, she becomes a new object when she goes into exile. </rulesnerdery>
Yeah, card seems fun. I'd love to blink a Thragtusk with this at some point in my life. Probably not playable outside of CNS draft or CMDR, but that's fine. It's also nice to have a B/W 'walker that's very different from Sorin.

The other person didn't say do it repeatedly. Dodge as needed.
I'm just saying, Venser could do it as a +2, without losing life, at the cost of it not hitting something of an opponent's or being able to protect himself on an opponent's turn with it. But also could hit ANYTHING you owned.
She is incredibly powerful. If she was modern legal she might have helped esper control decks (instead of the jeskai nahiri ones that we have right now). Unfortunately, for as powerful as she is, vintage and legacy are a very very very high bar and I don't think she hits the bar. The fact that her -2 is double advantage for you is pretty insane, considering she can go -2/-2/0 and repeat.

I just don't know how much she'll actually do
Overall, acceptable card, will not be worth half a payroll, and that is good.
Just too bad that her ghostwalking (and especially ghost-killing) abilities are not more reflected on the card.
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)

Oh she'll see play in EDH, I'm sure Oloro and Nekusar like her.
But you're dreaming if you think she is close to legacy playable.
Dack was a much much better walker.
