I like "create", it's much breezier than "put onto the battlefield". But I wonder: How will this effect the wording of cards like Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Hero of Bladehold? Will they say "Create a token tapped and attacking", or "Create a token. It enters the battlefield tapped and attacking"?

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

This already says "Create a tapped 2/2 black Zombie", so they'll probably say "Create two tapped and attacking 1/1 white Soldier creature tokens."
Put the conditionals together (tapped and attacking) and then the permanent descriptors (size, color, type).

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
If they were to reword token production to "create" instead of "put blablabla onto the battlefield with blablabla" then Oracle is gonna have a huge update soon. I mean, right off the bat, it would have to reword close to 900 cards. I can understand the flavor due to Kaladesh but creating a creature token doesn't feel as keen as producing or summon a creature token. Creatures that are cast are basically "summoned" so why not have it reworded as "summon" instead of "create"? If they wanted to create anything, they should've gone with the contraption concept that has yet to be seen. I dunno, so far I don't like it...

The problem with "freeze" as tapdown is that tapdown isn't always ice-based. Sometimes it's Sleep, sometimes it's more physical restraint. "Immobilize" would be a little more apt, but that sounds similar to Detain.

The real problem with a tap downn doesn't untap keyword is that it isn't very useful, as only a few cards per set use it, while making tokens can appear on up to a dozen or sometimes more cards per set. Meanwhile, using a keyword vs spelling out increases comprehension complexity.
I expect never to see the 'freeze' effect keyworded.
Mill is more likely, but difficult to name to the point of being intuitive enough where it's worth it.
The problem with keyboarding the freeze mechanic is that you forever restrict it to being ice-related. This means that non-ice-themed cards with this effect, like Kor Hookmaster, now have awkward, unintuitive wording that is disconnected from the art.

Disagree. There are alternate words like 'stun' or 'immobilise' that avoid this association.

Which would result in duplicate keywords doing the same thing, because "stun" and "immobilize" likewise mess up the flavor for freezing themed freeze spells.
I don't think stun messes the flavour of freeze themed cards. Stun is more flavorful for some cards than others, but so is create and the use of the term library and exile. I don't think it stun actually hurts the flavor of any card.

"Stun" is most often associated with either electric shock or forceful impact. In addition to ice spells, you also have sleep spells, which feel just as strange saying "stun". "Immobilize" is the most neutral term, but that has the issue of sounding similar to Detain and not indicating tapdown any more than arresting. Even more problematic is the fact that tapdown has at least four common variants:
Tap target permanent.
Tap target permanent. That permanent doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.
Tap target permanent. It doesn't untap during its controller's untap step for as long as ~ remains tapped.
Tap target permanent. It doesn't untap during its controller's untap step for as long as you control ~.
These can all be tied to a similar flavor, but a keyword action can only be used for one of them. That said, if a set really needed a named mechanic bad enough, I could see 3 or 4 getting keyworded as "Hold -cost-" (similar to Equip or Outlast).

Personally, I think the new templating is indicative of a mythic in Kaladesh that creates tokens and whose text would be too long to fit using the old templating.

They should introduce Prowess X, where X is +X/+0 the creature gets. Like Bloodthirst, except not.
Except Prowess is +1/+1, not +X/+0. There's a very relevant toughness boost as well, which the Geists and the Dragonauts don't have. Also, those creatures don't benefit from casting artifacts or enchantments or planeswalkers. So, it's only barely related to Prowess.

The keyword can apply to 2-4 if it has a timing restriction. I would actually see this as an ability keyword (since there are many effects that prevent untapping but don't tap themselves - Fogwalker and the blue 'effect land' from BFZ)
Something like "Slowed - this creature does not untap during it's controller's untap step" This would work on Colossus of Sardia and Brass Man outright. (And probably others - but I'm old school and those are the first two I could think of)
Then, instances 2-4 would look more more like this;
2: Tap target permanent, it gains Slowed until the end of it's controller's next turn.
3: Tap target permanent, as long as CARDNAME remains tapped that permanent has Slowed.
4: Tap target permanent, as long as you control CARDNAME that permanent has Slowed.

Rose tint my world, keep me safe from my trouble and pain.
They should introduce Prowess X, where X is +X/+0 the creature gets. Like Bloodthirst, except not.
As I have explained before, adding a number variable to Prowess-like mechanics complicates math when you have a bunch of instances of Keyword N with different numbers on creatures of different size going off all at once. Just because you can process that doesn't mean the average MtG player can. Prowess and Exalted work because they only ever grant +1/+1 per trigger, thus you only need to count the total instances among permanents you control.
Keywords with number variables, like Bloodthirst, Bushido, and Devour, get away with number variance either because the bonus is one-time, like Bloodthirst and Devour, or is much harder to trigger multiple times (Bushido only triggers once each combat, not for each blocker.) Having large numbers of these mechanics isn't going to complicate combat math quite as much.

Create does sound weird, and Summon is defunct - Wizards abandoned Summon Creature on their card a long time ago.
