Because conservative bias is a far, far worse thing. Liberal bias doesn't, statistically speaking, make people stupid. Conservative bias (or at least Fox's version of it) does.
I doubt Stoddard would do a deliberate deceit-by-omission regarding future cards. While it may have been moved since EMN development ended, M Files seems full of these subtle spoilers, all but naming Exploit in the article on Fate for example.
What part of the word "currently" is not understood here? It WAS in Kaladesh at that particular time the comment was made. It might have been dropped in the meantime.
Sigh. Some people really misunderstand what the word "confirmed" really means...

I'm with Caranthir. Cards do get dropped from sets. I can't remember what core set had JTMS and brainstorm in it I guess it was the tail end of the caw blade era but it had both cards in. Both were dropped from the set though.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
If it really was an unintentional spoiler, they would have edited it out afterwards like with the "vehicle" mechanic thing in the Choking Restraints discussion.
And if it was an intentional spoiler, then that is the most unceremonious way ever to start spoiling a set.
MDT: I like the change. It might be confusing for new players, but it's a cool moment once they realize that it helps with delirium (and maybe even helps turn off opponent's vehicles in casual Constructed).
It was then edited to remove the part in parenthesis.
All that's confirmed is that Murder was, at some point in the past, in the Kaladesh card file. That guarantees absolutely nothing about the final set, especially with the card ultimately being reprinted in Eldritch Moon. It could be printed again in the next set, since Eldritch Moon will eventually rotate out of Standard, but it makes it a bit less likely.
You mean how Negate was printed in both Dragons of Tarkir and Oath of the Gatewatch? It wouldn't be the first time (and more than likely won't be the last time) a common is reprinted in consecutive blocks.

Yes, this doesn't confirm anything, but that last comment implies they meant to keep Murder in Kaladesh. I think it's more likely for Murder to be in Kaladesh than not.

The vehicle comment could refer to almost anything - a mechanic, a subtype, a cycle, or even just a nickname for any of the above that ends up being completely different in the final product, if not cut completely. It's about as relevant of a reveal as the very idea that Kaladesh will have new cards and mechanics.
Is the "vehicle mechanic" in Choking Restraints that as an Aura it "rides" the creature until you choose to use its ability?
I thought immediatelly about Llanowar Behemoth. Not the "puppy" version, but the original one. One creature jumping in to use the vehicle (a wood-and-mud siege tower, in that particular case). Kind of like cohort, well.

Exactly. The key word in the multiverse file is "Currently". They may have even gone and said "Well, Murder is now in EMN - do we need it for Kaladesh? Can we use that slot for something else?"

Not exactly, it's a good balance between an inconditional, hard kill spell and its cost. Cheaper removal should be conditional, and while the more things a removal can hit, it should be more expensive as it becomes more versatile.

1BB for instant speed kill with no conditions or drawbacks is pretty good in today's world. Compare Angelic Purge and Anguished Unmaking.
Is the "vehicle mechanic" in Choking Restraints that as an Aura it "rides" the creature until you choose to use its ability?
Choking Restraints isn't the vehicle mechanic. The context of the quote is that the activated ability could create an 'aha' moment when the player realises it could help with delirium (because the enchantment goes to the graveyard at that point) or turn off your opponent's vehicles. This means that means that vehicles depend either on creatures being in play or are somehow turned off by having cards in your graveyard (I'm presuming the former)
That said, it doesn't mean we will ever see vehicles - it's just something they were working on at the time that quote was published and maybe got removed later.
I'd expect vehicles to behave similar to champions (Lorwyn), except maybe not remove the creature from play just tap it and it doesn't untap while the vehicle is in play or something. Then if that creature (the 'rider') gets removed the vehicle stops working - this interpretation fits the removed quote.

Vehicles makes perfect sense as being in Kaladesh. MaRo has repeatedly referred to some old mechanic idea that he liked being used, and has described Kaladesh as 'making you feel like an inventor' and there also the significantly possibility that this mechanic is the abandoned E mechanic from Mirrodin block- an artifact block. 'Vehicles' sounds exactly like what I'd expect of that.
But yes, maybe there's something different.

Both of those cards have much better effects than Murder does.
Murder is a card that I wish were in every limited format, but it's a very mediocre constructed card (still quite playable).
I noticed that too. All it actually means is that at the time of those comments, Murder was in Kaladesh. It does not actually confirm that it made it through development to publishing.
