Land tapping in red seems like an interesting direction to explore. Perhaps in the future we'll see more tapped lands matter effects in red? A creature that gets +1/+0 for each tapped land you control could be fun.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Is there anything that works better than Xenograft? Like something that turns all permanents into a creature type so we can transform Artifacts, Lands and Plainswalers for 1G at instant speed?

For the limited environment this is a great set. People don't seem to think about the holes in the SOI environment that this set is filling. The madness deck will be way better and it received one of the best removal spells in Alchemists Greeting. 2 mama to get 4 damage out and the bonus from the madness trigger is great.
People complain about white but I just don't see it. I can build some super aggro red/green madness decks. I see some great BG decks and even a possible red blue deck. Yes there is a pretty solid humans deck. I don't see this limited being bad by any means though.

In case I didn't tell you, I don't care about your opinion I just want your facts. And not the facts that make you seem smart. I want the ones that are actual facts.
Pretty sure this combo doesn't work with the Origins Planeswalkers. (ie Jace, Vryn's Prodigy) Since they would just "die" when you force a transformation. As they would transform and end up as Planeswalkers without any loyalty counters.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

There is also Conspiracy. However it won't work for the origins planeswalkers... well that's not entirely true. The Origins planeswalkers would transform and then be put into your graveyard as a state based action. Planeswalkers get their loyalty counters as they enter the battlefield, if any of the Origins planeswalkers are transformed with Waxing Moon they won't get their loyalty counters and would die immediately (this is why all of the Origins Planeswlakers are worded so that they exile themselves and then enter the battlefield transformed).
so they are pushing for bant spirits, huh? at least that will be interesting and allow a new deck to enter, and possibly compete in the format. we didn't need more bant, but at least its not humans. however I feel really bad for wolves/werewolves players. even though they did get enough support to make a deck in this set, its still sad to see that green got more rare spirits than rare wolves/werewolves, and the only one they got was a spirit. I like some of the red rares and mythics, but feel they are still stuck as a support color, possible even just a splash color like blue has been for a long time. black got liliana and some zombie love to also start to make a deck. but that GW tokens deck has that perfect curve with value at every spot just like abzan did for its tenure, so I only see it getting stronger should they tweak it at all. once again as a red player, I will be brewing a new deck every week to have any chance of competing (the ol' surprise the opponent with a deck they don't already have well thought out plan for) and wait for kaladesh, hoping for a little izzet power creep for once. then who knows, we may actually get a balanced standard. And if you think I'm one of the 'hate every new set' types, I have actually defended every single set that has come out since I first started posting, including BFZ, but this one is the first one I'm actually disappointed in.

Most of the complaining is about standard, where G/W tokens and Bant Coco have been each about 33% of Day two metas at large events(2/3 of Day 2 decks have been mainly Green and White, therefore the hate). Limited looks okay, but for standard the set looks disappointing and frustrating for R, U, and B decks.
Really disappointed with the lack of Innocent Blood and Cavern of Souls in this block (first would be flavor win, and second came from original Innistrad block). I was strongly hoping for those to be reprinted this block, the first for Modern format, and the second for casual tribal decks across multiple formats due to price.
Also, did WotC even test the WG humans deck in Standard when designing this block? It seems rather OP compared to the tools they gave to other decks overall.
Edit: On the other hand, lots of interesting and cool new cards regardless, I'm happy for many new mechanics and inclusions to various formats, even if I'm concerned about lack of needed reprints and possible poor standard and limited balance.
Maybe I did a bad job of looking, but there's nothing in the set to Donate, right? That card is just a complete blank in Limited no matter what you open?
Except maybe giving someone a 4/4 Scarecrow to stop them from playing their own creatures, but that seems...less than optimal.

To be fair, one of the reasons why some cards get a rare/mythic rarity is so Wizards doesn't necessarily have to balance for it in limited. The existence of Demonic Pact justifies its printing in the current standard.

Xenograft / any Changeling sorcery/instant spell.
Sign in Blood is a sorcery. Succumb to Temptation is an instant.

Fan of Both old and new Slivers (But the new ones are still better anyway)
C Call of Emrakul - G vs R DD: Elves vs. Goblins - W vs B DD: Divine vs. Demonic - WUB Esper Artifice - RGW Aura Dancers
WUBRG Wrath of the Reaper King - WB Men of Faith - B Mercenaries - UB Phyrexian Assault 2.0 - WU Artifacts of Empires
BR Skeleton Warriors - RG Night of The Howlpack - B Bog Murderers - BR Eldrazi Assault - BGU Ulamog's Swarm
Blah blah not enough room (with Eldrazi)... Blah blah bad storytelling (with Eldrazi)...
Mark my words, the Year of Eldrazi will not be the last we see of them.
RGUCascade Cascade -- When you want to put a Roil Elemental into play before a Boundless Realms is cast...RGU
And Wight of Precinct Six counts creatures in opponent's graveyards, not your own, giving you less control over its bonus.
A couple random cards I'm kinda eager to try -
-Terrarion in some sort of delirium/converge crossover deck
-Clear Shot seems fun in a Mirrorwing Dragon/Zada/Silverfur Partisan deck
-Otherworldly Outburst actually seems kinda great (either in the aforementioned Clear Shot list, or just on its own). The instant speed makes it, in my eyes, probably better than Skin Invasion
-A U/G Emerge deck using Foul Emissary and Primal Druid seems fun
Xenograft + Waxing Moon = instant speed transform for:
Origins Plainswalkers
Thing in the Ice
Archangel Avacyn
and more

Sign in Blood can also target players so you can get the last two damage in.
These two cards are different enough that one cannot be strictly worse than the other.
Certain colours do have more playable cards than others but overall This set is not as bad as some others have been recently.
none
Modern
UBG B/U/G control
BBB MBC
WUR Control
WWW Prison
RRR Goblins

BBB Pox
UBG B/U/G Control
UWU StoneBlade

Amoeboid Changeling / March of the Machines / Animate Artifact?
This combo sucks, to be honest.

Are Hal and Alena cathars? This one is a cathar. I think you are panicking completely for nothing....

Yeah, cops are cops everywhere. Having read Ravnica novels, I did not consider any other meaning of the word "partner" here.

I don't play Modern or anything, but it seems like this set will have more to contribute than other sets have recently.
