well, given a modern Standard print run, Crucible would fall to, I would guess the $20 range, a big thing is just supply on that one. I see this being around there in Standard, rising slowly after rotation from EDH, and more quickly if it finds a real Modern home

I really hope it's "basic" lands so that way this card is a lot cheaper. I would hate for such a cool card to be that expensive right off the bat...

Its been translated as "all lands". Guess we will have to see if that is correct or not. I'm hoping its more than basics.
I'm looking for a library dump outlet in Modern to abuse it as translated. So far not finding much. Mirror-Mad Phantasm and Tunnel Vision don't seem viable.
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)

I can't believe this is a real card. This is the single best ramp spell ever printed. I don't really play constructed, but my mimeoplasm deck just grew another appendage ifyouknowhatimsayin.

I thought that Planar Birth was always an amusing card that can semi-lock people down with an armageddon and tormod's crypt. However, it being able to include non-basics is well worth the extra two mana (which tends to be easier to attain in green as well). As people have already said, it's all about those fetchlands that makes this card a bit overwhelming.
EDIT: just realized that playing this post-Scapeshift would be absolutely hilarious although it's a bit win-more at that point.
I'm super excited to see if this can make an entirely new deck viable in modern. Dredge as it is already feels strong without diluting the deck with this though. It's not often they even hit 4 lands. This seems to be far more likely to see play in some sort of landfall deck. Wonder if there's a way to break this with lotus cobra. If you're able to get 4 fetches on turn 4 you generate 12 mana... I'm not sure how it will fit in since you have to somehow dump lands into the yard to get a lot of value. Costing 4 is probably too expense for aggro landfall decks too.
Ok, so the MTGS front page is saying one translation, but the first page in this thread is saying something slightly different. My questions are the following:
Is it all lands, all basic lands, all non-basic lands or what?
Does it say "you" or "your" graveyard, or does everybody in the game do this. If it was the later, my gut would tell me that it would read something like, "Return all lands from all graveyards to the battlefield tapped." or "Return all lands from each graveyard to the battlefield tapped under their owners' control."
The second question is even more important. Is it every player or just you?
I think there must be an "under their owner's control" missing from the text. The rules text as it stands isn't right, and if it says "under your control" then this is the biggest fetchland hoser in the world.
The way people are thinking this works isn't plausible. That'd be a completely broken card.

Step 2: Sacrifice all your lands (via a repeatable effect like Stormwatch Eagle, Greater Gargadon, Overgrown Estate, Aura Fracture etc.)
Step 3: Play this
Step 4: Oops.
Seems like a fun way to win an EDH game.
