Lily herself is definitely good, but not the greatest. We all knew she wasn't going to be as good as Lily V and those complaining because of it are in denial. She is about as strong as Flip Lily.
Her Oath is quite average. In a Super Friends deck it might be good, but I'm a little surprised this is 3 mana when most of the time it will be a Cruel Edict.
I love the land, only because Windfall ruins my day and I would like to not discard some things sometimes. This will be one of those cards that will be $3-$4 in a few years as people want plenty for EDH or even against whatever annoying discard is out there, like if 8 Rack ever becomes huge.
I mean I maintain that Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is merely a mediocre card on her own. But synergy/context is everything. Gideon and Westvale Abbey make Nissa into a highly playable card. I don't know what precise mixture of cards will make Lili work, but she seems quite powerful.
That -2 ability is Liliana's best ability but I feel like I would rather play her oath for 3 mana.
Tbh, would have preferred a 2/2 zombie as her +1 instead. There's also the fact that if you aren't playing zombies her ultimate literally just puts 2 zombie tokens onto the battlefield that you can't do shenanigans with that turn. Would've been really cool as a reanimate ability.

I like how the enfranchised players complained that card previews spoil the story for BFZ and SOI (especially Anguished Unmaking), but we pretty much guessed the whole story for EDM before we saw a single card.
People are repeatedly comparing this Lily to LotV and it blows my mind. You really expect them to print something that competes with of the Veil? Reasonable expectations, people.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
compare Liliana to Jace, Telepath Unbound.
+1: Jace is -2/-0 to Liliana's -2/-1
-2: Jace costs one more loyalty to cast instant and sorceries straight from the graveyard, liliana mills to fill the graveyard, and lets you cast your binned dudes by providing returning them to your hand
-7: both provide an eventual win condition. Though Liliana can protect herself with her ultimate.
Both Jace and Liliana require 5 activations of their +1 to ultimate and assuming you can fill your graveyard enough both, Jace and Liliana can be cast at the same time.
Summary, I like her. She plays in a completely different deck than Jace, but I'm playing her for sure
I don't like this Liliana at all. And no I wasn't one of the people who thought LOTV would get reprinted, that's just crazy. She almost feels like a wasted turn on turn three. Even with her plus one, basically every deck in the format will still swing and kill the next turn, especially in a deck that cares about zombies, which only has one one drop in three blocks together. Then again I thought nissa, voice of zendikar was super weak, even for three mana, and I still think she is, but this is somehow weaker. To those who will point out that nissa is a staple in the best deck in the format, I will note that it's the Gideon that makes her playable. She could be swapped out in a heartbeat and that deck would be only slightly worse, but axe the Gideon and its immediately tier two. Lili forces you to play a GY matters deck, which is fine, but you can't then say it's a good Walker. It's a utility walker, that will see play just because of the cost, but won't actually be worth playing out of a "zombie" type shell
I'm not sure yet about the power level but on both cards Lil looks absolutely fantastic.
No more eye candy or plastic looks, a real ancient sorceress bearings.
Oh more are coming
There's still a few colorless slots left
And also there's probably more flip cards too. (All of the flips are eldrazis in this set)
Yeah I wasn't expecting LOTV at all and nor did I want her to be reprinted (because that would be insane in standard) but I would expect the card for Liliana to be more exciting than this when she is supposedly Innistrad's "Last Hope". I mean, that art and her trailer definitely didn't make it look like all her +1 did was weaken(and maybe kill) a guy and all those zombies definitely look like a lot more than the 2 her ultimate is going to give you if you aren't playing a Zombie themed deck.

Weird that her 'walker card has the same CMC as her Oath - the original four were all less than their corresponding cards (Jace's card didn't show up until the next block, but still). Gideon's even curves directly into him. It's a silly thing to be hung up on, but it irks me a bit.
Glad the Anna Steinbauer art did indeed end up being the art on the card - it's absolutely gorgeous, and I'd want The Last Hope regardless of how good the card ended up being. And the card is...well, as said, not flashy, but definitely solid. Flavorful, too: spreads lingering Weakness, raises the fallen, and raises more zombies the longer the battle rages - specifically, as more living fighters fall, though that would have been tough to make work on the card without losing the "slow, plodding inevitability" aspect that shows why she's the one that will turn the tide. (It'd also just be kind of clunky.)
The Oath has competition in Standard in Foul-Tongue Invocation and To the Slaughter, but the fact that it hits each opponent makes it a lot better in my preferred format of casual multiplayer. The fact that it also helps protect your 'walkers whenever you play them doesn't hurt, either.

Good start, imho the secret in her power lies in comparing her to Jace, Architect of Thought.
Then when you realise they are almost the same card, however Lilly is one cheaper, she might be a whole lot better than most people think.

The Internet was a revelation to me, I never imagined there are so many idiots on this planet.

Well, the ultimate will give you more. If you start with 0 Zombies and none of them dies, you get 2(0+2) on first turn, 4(2+2) on second, 8(2+4+2) on third, 16(2+4+8+2) on fourth, etc.

It also reminds me of the time when Lili of the Veil got spoiled in original innistrad.

While she is not nearly as powerful as OTV, getting back a relentless dead, kalitas, traitor of ghet, goblin dark-dwellers, thought-knot seer, etc, is a pretty strong play. Edit: also, gitrog monster approves

This is mostly a comment on people whining that it's not the new Modern staple to be added to Jund decks - of course it isn't and it shouldn't be.
Edit: @Beholder. (thought i quoted >_<)

RIP Magic Duels. Wizards will regret what they did to you.
You really thought this would be as good as veil.
But this is probably the missing piece of the puzzle for zombie tribal in EDH
And her black oath
The enter ability is great your creatures don't get touched
But the planeswalker enter ability
Getting a 2/2 for a planeswalker enter is ok so just a tiny bit better than oath of chandra

Didn't you swear off doing PW cards? There'll never be a next Architect of Thought. (I never had a problem, BTW)
EDIT: Nevermind. I didn't know I had to watch the video.

I was expecting her to be the key to beating eldrazi as she was hyped up to be. What is she going to do about eldrazi? Pop a few scions?
