Wait, that prey upon art implies that there are normal werewolves being hunted/fighting with the "dronepack", yet all the DFC not named Ulrich are eldrazi?
I am so confused about this set.
It ia simple - yes, there are still normal werewolves, just not on cards (they needed the dfc slota for Eldrazi transformations).

Well, I think that the joke is that the "normal" werewolf is the same one who attacks human on Innistrad art of Prey Upon.

Which is literally the most disappointing thing I have learned about this set yet. My God this is return set is such a MASSIVE fail in my opinion. Nearly every new piece of information we learn makes me hate the direction even more. This just figures tho...
Peace of Mind absolutely killed what little hope remained for anyone wishing to play any sort of fast burn deck. I am not that much of a Red player but even I feel a little sorry for those who are.
Since there are a lot of mutated Eldrazi cards in the set, people are saying there are too many. If there were any fewer, people would be saying that the big threat isn't having a convincing impact on Innistrad. Sigh.

Maybe shoudn't have used Emmrakull or the eldrazi at all

Maybe shoudn't have sued Emmrakull or the eldrazi at all
No, Emrakul is easy to sue because she drives her lawyers insane and incompetent.

I am on the complete other side of this argument.
I personally think that they should have either printed Ulrich in SOI or not at all. Having exactly one old sun/moon DFC really lacks symmetry.
EMN should have been all Eldrazi-style transformations if that's the direction they're taking. Ulrich sticks out as a sore thumb.
I also don't need to see new "original-style" Werewolves to believe that they're still there.
Just showing some non-corrupted Werewolves in art is fine for getting the point across. You can gather from all the other tribes that some are corrupted, some are not.

On MTGO as Protoman.
On 7/14/10, broke 1900 mark! <3 ROE.
Yes, it is going to find a place in my current Brood Monitor + Eldrazi Displacer + Pious Evangel + Felidar Sovereign combo deck that works more often than not. It isn't great, but at least it isn't a complete failure like that GR werewolves deck I tried. Ugh--what a disaster that was.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
Prey Upon reprint
Peace of Mind reprint
Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest WUR Voltron Control

Vaevictis (VV2) the Dire Lantern
Rona, Disciple of Gix
Tiana the Auror
Hallar
Ulrich the Politician
Zur the Rebel
Scorpion, Locust, Scarab, Egyptian Gods

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
There is a Prey Upon reprint as well.

But enough on that, for now. These are both very solid reprints.

25 cards that have no reference to Eldrazi by my count, so less than half. Horrible rate there.
Hoping for a cure, or at least an outbreak.
Level 1 Judge (yay)
Prey Upon seems really good, especially when used alongside Rabid Bite and Lobocop.
Peace of Mind also flips Lone Rider by itself, by the way.
(The flavor/reference in the new Prey Upon is hilarious, the flavor in the new Peace of Mind is heartbreaking. Good stuff all around.)

Lowynd on page 1 puts it best. Sad and beautiful.
Think what you will about this set, but the flavor dressing is outstanding.
