Huh, this isn't where I thought they'd take the card but she looks good. Being in bant colors limits her, and she essentially needs to be in a creature-based deck, but I think in that particular deck she's good. Her +1 can create card advantage, especailly since it's any combat damage, and it's very notable that you can target your opponent's creatures as well, easing the blow of them attacking you or Tamiyo. Her -2 does a good job of stalling attackers, and on turn 4 it's very likely that will account for all of your opponent's relevant threats, and you can then attack past them, and they'll be tapped for your next attack phase as well so that you can +1 her and draw more cards. Her ultimate is really good, but you're not getting there much.
In Bant Midrange/Aggressive decks, I think Tamiyo is a solid CA engine, and is a pretty good reason to splash a third color into your UW, GW, or GU deck.
Without ramp, it's potentially turn-8 Omniscience plus an Ancestral Recall. Possibly turn-6 with ramp. It might work in some kind of Eldrazi build, if one can be made for Bant. Most important is that cards are still being considered as "cast" so you still get triggers from the big ones.
+1 is "deals combat damage" so it triggers even when it's blocked. Works on enemy creatures as well (they'll probably won't want to block or attack unless they're sure they'll kill the opposing creature) and it works wonders with Double Strike.
-2 is Frost Breath hitting non-land permanents. Mostly useless against 'walkers (Gideon's +1 being the exception), but very flexible. Incredibly powerful in aggressive or tempo deck or simply to prevent attacks.
-7 is "You can cast Emrakul from your hand without paying its mana cost". I don't think you'll get to her ultimate often, as she is more of a tempo planeswalker.
Good design and, if Bant CoCo is to survive losing Collected Company, she will be the one to make it happen.
I wanted to play this in my Niv Mizzet deck but bant is such a cool choice, the art is great the card is totally powerful so I am pretty freaking stoked about this.
WotC are forcing previous mono colour planeswalkers into multi colours to make room for the Gatewatch. See Ajani, Sorin, Garruk, Tamiyo etc. When Elspeth comes back I'll reckon she'll be multi colour too.
I didn't think they'd go full Bant! Would've preferred just Combine colors but this is fine too. Omniscience just from research in the field is very much =D

RIP Magic Duels. Wizards will regret what they did to you.
It seems a lot of people are missing that her +1 is protection since you can target opponents' creatures and they won't attack or block until your next turn to avoid the card draw.
Really nice card but might be pretty hard to play in modern.

Ajani went back to mono-white after going Selesnya for a bit, though. As for Elspeth, I'm thinking she might turn into an BW walker once she eventually gets out of the Underworld.
I like it, a lot. I don't even care if it playable in format, the abilities are sweet to brew. And she's in the ultimate-is-awesome category. Maybe the three colors will mean that her price will be reasonable. I'm happy.
Sure, there's tension with the 4 drop slot between Collected Company and Tamiyo, but I don't think that makes her not worth playing. In the context of her colors, she has Advocate, Reflector Mage, Duskwatch, Lambholt Pacifist, and Tireless Tracker before her, then Avacyn, Jace, and a few others after her. Plus we have Unsubstantiate as disruption to go along with White removal.
Curving Advocate into Reflector Mage into Tamiyo will be miserable to play against.
Well, she's in doubling season range. In the event anyone lets everyone's favorite planeswalker-breaking enchantment stick in commander superfriends with both Tamiyos in your hand it's gonna be a real fun time.

Her +1 is pretty nuts. Activate it on your opponent's two best creatures. Attack into it. If they block, draw cards. If they attack, draw more cards.
Just NUTS.
Yeah definitely. I think she's the real deal. Her +1 is more powerful than people are giving it credit for, it just also requires intelligent play to get the most out of it.
Same with the -2, which again is much better than people are giving it credit for. She's clearly a tempo card, and a very powerful one at that.

Surprised they made her full bant, though. Weird flavor choice.

PW'S are actually a pretty small design space, and I think they are running out of abilities fast.
