Wow. This is the finisher the vampire decks need, and it's wolf. That's kinda hilarious to me. But vampire madness decks biggest downside is running out of gas and top decking. This is a perfect card for that and dodges most of the removal being played right now.
From the thread title I was hoping this would be a werewolf skaab Zombie, but this is actually even funnier

They didn't care that he was the savior of Fort Keff, the great hunter of Ondu, the champion of Kabira. To them, he was just another piece of flesh, a thing with life to be drained away.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
If you look closely this one is actually a wolf. Well, a wolf head stitched onto a construct body powered by what assume is geist energy. I vote to let this one slide.

Lycanthropy Awareness Day.
Hoping for a cure, or at least an outbreak.
I'm wondering if the best use for this card is not trying to meet the conditions to attack/block, but instead using some other card that works based on a creatures power to get a big advantage out of this being 5/5 for only 2 mana.
Haha! Oh my. I really like this card for flavor reasons, but if there's enough of this hellbent-ish thing happening in this set, I'm gonna have to try Vampire Madness in standard again.

Ah, but the thing is, wolves fill out the werewolf decks, since there aren't enough applicable DFCs. What's more, wolves are the only support werewolf decks get in non-Innistrad sets.

Why is this not a vampire? Why is it an artifact? Why does the only wolf part of the card seem to be a decapitated wolf's head? Well because your dreams don't make sense. Sometimes you go to school wearing a taco costume and that's totally normal.

Well its only a prototype...
LOVE IT. Haven't said that about a card for a looong time.

Eldrazi Mimic says Hello.
Here is the list of cards with text "creature's power" that might be able to exploit this. Barrage Tyrant and Tormented Thoughts (this curves nicely, too) seem like borderline playable options.
