I mean, it's not card disadvantage I suppose when you get to transform it, but it is a little underwhelming for a 5CMC creature if you don't madness it out. Not that being able to cast it for its madness cost has been made easy, given that vampires seem to be BR.
Ugh, what is this? Not a fan, hard to achieve madness cost, extreme cost to transform, and underwhelming transform effect. People were screaming these cards were commons, the card itself might of well have been. Could be wrong, though.
The front face had potential as an elegant vampire piece classic for Innistrad. Ruined by stupid Eldrazi crap once again.
An elegant vampire with three arms?
But agreed on the "ruined by stupid eldrazi crap" part. I liked Innistrad, not Rise of the Eldrazistrad.

"Kamigawa wasn't popular, so we won't return to what was popular about Kamigawa and instead replicate the most hated thing about it - the Kami. Enter Eldrazi."
I like powerful build-arounds like this. You pay a big price, you get a big effect. In this case, the price might be as low as Call to the Bloodline. Its ceiling, ie getting cast on turn 3, is aggressively costed. The ability can be saved for reactionary purposes if you fear the opponent has a removal spell.
I think the nut draw of "cast and transform on turn 4, bin three of your opponent's Humans" is potentially powerful. However, there are a lot of hoops to jump through to get this online quickly and safely. It remains to be seen if that's possible.
Innistrad is my favorite set and plane, and I am adoring the Eldrazi corruption of it. This piece is an excellent meld of refined gothic horror tropes and strange, alien biological horror. Pieces like this feel like an extension of the plane, not an unnecessary perversion. Love that ram's head she's now acquired.
As for the actual card, this thing has a steep transformation cost, but it does inflict the same cost on your opponent while upgrading you to a 6/5, so that more than makes up for it. If there's some B/x tokens deck, I could see this finding it's way in. Don't think this is one for the actual vampire deck, but that's fine.
it will not destroy the world, probably won't see any constructed play, but it's simply too beautiful.
Already want to build around it with Prized Amalgams and friends.
Also, Marchesa, the Black Rose may like this card for her EDH deck.

Also, amazing art like most Innistrad cards.
Wish the backside was also a goat. It'd be hilarious!

Do note the multiple arms and magenta themes, the Horror creature type...this is an Eldrazi piece on the front side as well.
I think too many people are upset that the all-powerful Emrakul is eating their favorite plane. I don't know what else you could expect from Eldrazi.
This aint your girlfriends meta! This is a man's meta! TURBO META.
