This card seems strong on first glance. In the right shell, you should be able to ramp on turn 3 and transform it on turn 4, swinging with a 3/4 prowess that will be very difficult to block. Plus it continues to provide cost reduction. I dunno, seems Delver-esque to me.
Hello new thalia, I think I'll go mono-blue tempo spell slinger now. I've got this wonderful Eldrazi Homonculus and Jace's Sanctum to keep me company....
For some reason, the backside doesn't look Eldrazi to me. It looks too cute/funny/cartoony. Though I think the card is good, I don't like that Wizards seem to be pushing high P/T creatures in blue. A 1/1 for 2 that flips into 3/4 sounds green to me.

Better than Thing in the Ice. Triggering off of spells in the graveyard is huge, since it's able to flip if you topdeck it while you have no spells in hand, and tapping for mana is much better than being a wall.
This does seem like it would create fun decks
