Lone Rider seems very powerful to me in the right deck. I imagine the Soul Sisters modern deck will at least be trying it out. Could easily trigger its end-step ability the turn they play it, meaning that it's just an effective 4/4 with first strike, trample and lifelink for 1W. It fails the bolt test, but at 2CMC that's not really that much of a downside.
I feel like Accumulated Knowledge would be too strong for modern. In a control shell or Delver where there is a slot open for Think Twice, people would run 4 of these instead and by the second one would already be producing significant card advantage with a strictly better Divination.
Not only that, but it would probably push Storm over the edge to Tier 1 imo.
Well, if you think accumulated knowledge would push storm to tier 1 then you should expect the same from take inventory. Storm doesn't need to play (and mostly does not play) at instant speed, so the time restriction is irrelevant, and counting the cards in opponent's graveyard should be irrelevant overall (the card has to be good even if your opponent does not play it). If that is your prediction, then expect modern storm to become tier 1 in the next few months.

Divination, which was always standard playable, was draw 2 for 3cmc. This is 2 for 2. Seems like a great rate that scales up. I wonder if it makes the cut for modern playability over AV. More expensive, but immediate return.
Edit: Actually, does this count itself on resolution? If so that's amazing, if not it's still ok
No. The spell does not go to the GY till it resolves.
Pretty boring batch today after yesterday's solid start.
See I find Take Inventory to be the most exciting card spoiled so far. It's not close for me either. Even as a bad AK, that's a far better draw spell than I anticipated getting in this set.
I am loving Lone Rider, and Grizzled Angler is pretty neat. With the Rider, it's def going into my Athreos and Karlov decks.
Just a thought: I hope that Wizards does a full spoiler week without any Humans showing up. It would be nice, considering the current Human Standard, just to see Vamps, Wolves, Spirits, and Zombies get to shine without some Human showing them up. They made a big deal out of 'keeping Innistrad tribal themes' and have yet to give any real love to the non-Humans.
Accumulated Knowledge would have been much better. It certainly wouldn't have been too good in Modern and Wizards needs to stop being so afraid of card-draw in Standard.
Pretty boring batch today after yesterday's solid start.
Well, that is to be expected given that 5 of the spoilers were intro-pack rares. The blue one [Nibilis of Frost] actually looks constructed playable to me. Kinda like a dungeon geists with a little downside when it enters the battlefield but much more upside if it stays in play.
Aside from the intropack rares, the rider is interesting for modern soul sisters (they already play Ajani Pridemates) and the fixed accumulated knowledge is probably decent to very good, let's see how it shakes up. I would say that is a pretty good margin of exciting spoilers.

Eldrazi cards can be so dumb. I love them so much. (Sometimes you get great names like It That Rides as One, and sometimes you get hilarious puns like Grisly Anglerfish. It's awesome.)
Lone Rider should be good friends with Strength of Arms - it takes a little bit of building around to reliably flip, but 4/4 first strike, trample, lifelink is quite powerful. (Always Watching would also be a step in the right direction.)
Niblis of Frost is...cool in theory, but if I'm playing a 4-drop that cares about spells being cast at the kitchen table, I'm playing Talrand. Assembled Alphas probably goes in my Were/Wolves deck, Noosegraf Mob just seems fun (I have an urge to throw a Forced Adaptation on it, though there are definitely much better ways to keep the counters flowing). And Innistrad has Treefolk! That's about all I have to say about the Observer.
I...would've loved to just see a reprint of Kindle, actually. I have an instinctive dislike of burn spells that don't go to the face - they can certainly serve an important purpose, but it just feels wrong, somehow. The baseline for a "card I'd sacrifice deck space to jam four of because they're better in multiples" card is probably Accumulated Knowledge, actually, so the Inventory does not enthuse me. (Maybe I could make a silly deck that's nothing but those kinds of cards, throwing in the cards from the Origins cycle that I have a relevant number of...)
Still, 2-3 out of 5 intro pack rares I wouldn't be unhappy to pull is a decent rate. So that's something.
Wow, hat new Kindle-like card. Terrible. Just copies in your graveyard...wow. I had an impossible time getting multiple of relevant cards for the time they tried this crap in Origins. Undead Servant It didn't work out too well as why would I pick this junky 4drop creature for a better attacker or removal spell in my off color? Then you miss your chance because packs only go around the table twice, and it is most unlikely the rest of the pack sucks that its the best choice the first time, or that someone DOESN'T take it thinking of playing the same way.
This effect only works when you can have more than 4 of a given card name. OR some other characteristic to value, like a named character's whatever. But Magic isn't designed for that to be balanced. You can't count all blue sorceries to draw x, it'd be bonkers. You can't check to see all spells crafted by a particular school of magic, that isn't even in this game. It's just ughh, I hate this cycle.
I don't want to share my feelings on the rest of it yet. I've seen one zombie and I'm not pleased.

Convince me now Innistrad isn't Kamigawa 2.0 (in the good way)?
Flip cards have become DFCs. Offering has become Emerge. We still have our Soratami Planeswalker. Eldrazi reflect the Kami in terms of weirdness.
It wouldn't be too hard to imagine It that Rides as One as the spiritual manifestation of the flavor text of Lone Rider.
If you didn't get the flavor (which is understandable, because it just happens to be something I knew about), head down to Wikipedia and search for "Jinba ittai".
This card is in solid position for my personal favorite flavor-design card of the set already (Yes I'm so impressed by its design I'm willing to take the risk at this early stage of previews).
Take Inventory is a draw 2 for 2. It counts itself?
No, not until there's already a copy in the graveyard. First copy is terrible; second is good; third is great; fourth is absurd. The trick is to get the first copy or two into your graveyard without actually having to cast them (looting with Jace or Nahiri is the thing that immediately comes to mind).
Oh, I read Galvanic Bombardment as Kindle at first. Oops. I guess my brain hadn't quite woken up yet.
I still really like that mechanic though. Always have. It's evocative of a wizard getting better at casting a spell with practice. I wish they'd use it more often.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.

Take Inventory and Galvanic Bombardment are both good IMO. Fiery Impulse sees play so I see no reason Galvanic Bombardment won't. If you decide to play both these spells, as they are different types, they also help with delirium, which I imagine was intentional. It was probably what convinced them to print a strictly worse Accumulated Knowledge, given that they feel Accumulated Knowledge is generally too warping for standard.

Are you nuts
6 is too cheap for that card
Just 2 creature block it all the blockers get 3 damage no matter what
And 3 times X blockers damage to opponments face (just 2 blockers and it does more damage than it can do to a opponment if nothing blocked it.)

Who cares? The card is brutal. Casual Modern life gain decks are going to love getting a 4/4 with trample, lifelink, and first strike for two mana.

Selling some cards I don't want.
Generally less than tcg mid.
OR OR a format where you might be milling or discarding a lot. If you cast it with just one copy in your graveyard its better than Divination.
Its not a format breaking card but its not nearly as atrocious as you seem to think.

I care. Some others, too. And the power level of a card and its flavor text are not linked in any way so your argument has no relevance here.
