The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Why even bother to show card images with no text and tell us that one of them will be spoiled in eight days?
This is a preview of a preview because "we heard" you guys like pre previews. Maybe the next time we will do a pre pre preview
"There will be cards featured in a set to be announced in the future." - Wizards Pre Pre Spoiler
MaRo does pre-pre-pre spoilers a lot of times though, he doesn't even confirm whether there will be cards at all in a future set to be announced in the future, except that you need to get excited about it.
You know, with what happened earlier with the leaks during OGW (their reactions and the resulting backlash to that), these pre-previews feel like they're making a jab at the entire case. You like leaks? How about we do the "leaks" except using the same way marketing would have wanted to instead (I know that's not the actual meaning of leak, I'm just using it as a temporary term for "earlier than intended", because pre-preview doesn't cut it that direction either).
But seriously though, they'll be better off just giving us the full image and letting us speculate. The frames don't even credit the artists nor indicate the P/T boxes (with those names and art, I don't see both of them being noncreatures of any sort), it's almost an insult to bothering putting frames to tell us their colors.

It's just like announcing announcements - it's the in thing to do nowadays! Needless to say, I hate it. If you have something to show us, then show us when you're ready. Art of both cards looks nice, but a little generic. At one point all vampires in front of a full moon look the same to me, no matter how many limbs they might have.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.
I'm thinking the Extractor has some sort of "sac a creature, get a spirit" kind of ability, given that the guy in the background is about to meet the guillotine. Or something like "Tap two untapped creatures you control: destroy target tapped creature."

Well it should be today
They look uncommon but they do also have a rare-vibe to them. I'm hoping they're solid Rares.
