I understand shifting rarity due to the power of a card to dominate limited. I understand shifting rarity to ensure that collectors don't get super pissed when their $50 card plummets in price. But, this? Whatever.
Good reprint but annoyed it's at rare. In the end though it's another very good card we're getting a chance to open.

You're busting my balls here, WotC. With this and Shardless Agent shift ups, you cannot tell us that you don't pay attention to the secondary market prices to determine rarity.
I mean, I love the card, but rare? Hurting me. Where's the good shift downs to put more value into the fact that this set is 10 bucks a pop?

What, you mean you haven't seen the awesome Sengir Autocrat dropped to Uncommon, or the amazing Emperor Crocodile all the way to Common?
...yeah who am I kidding.

Bull*****, without a critical ammount of elves she is *****, and I suspect we won't get the best elves because they're shoved in MM17.
Purely price driven upshifts in rarity all around.

heritage druid price $11
And yet they keep Dualcaster Mage at rare when it should have been shifted down to Uncommon

Sure right now, but last year it peaked at $25, which is probably more around the time that they determined it's rarity and inclusion than right now.
The rarity shifts have been mostly nonsense so far, cards that should be uncommon are left at rare and cards that are uncommon become rare because "limited", or to many people here "money", "collectors", and "don't want card to drop too far in price".

If they only cared about price you would be very right. They don't ONLY care about price, obviously price is a concern in any decision made, but, for this, so is limited and Reverberate is a powerful card especially when you are adding more powerful spells to the mix and stapling on a 2/2 body. The druid is a card that goes from 0 to BROKEN way too fast so I can understand it being rare for limited, especially sense the B/G draft archtype is elves so if there isn't enough support then they've made a lot of dumb decisions.
What a joke. People keep saying this set is so full of value, but I'm just not seeing it. The majority of the rares are currently under $10 and likely to drop further, a bunch more are just over $10 and likely to go under, and most of the uncommons and commons are worthless. The most valuable uncommon spoiled so far, Cabal Therapy, is preselling at SCG for $8 and is currently in stock. The "value" is entirely in foils, a handful of rares, and most of the mythics. Not something you can really count on when the MSRP is $10 and you'll probably be paying more.
This card is the embodiment of wizards doing price EV for packs. It's just so in your face gross. When they make an uncommon a mythic, and they will eventually, I won't even be surprised. *Karakas and FoW loom in the background*

Not to mention Call the Skybreaker, Diminishing Returns, personally I would say Rorix Bladewing, Giant Solifuge, Void, and then the mythic ones of Karakas and Argothian Enchantress.
