Spot On. I'm like you I have a feeling all the remaining rares are going to be Call the Skybreaker caliber. I won't give up hope, but I'm pessimistic.
I do like the Wee Dragonauts reprint though.

I'm hoping that their planned spoiler schedule involves a "big finish" that brings some splashy cards at the end to match what we saw at the beginning.
Right now there's a clear downward trajectory that's not unusual for spoiler season after the first few heavy hitters come out. If it continues I just won't be able to justify the price tag for these.
(And I don't mean for this to be a let's complain about Wizards post, just that I literally can't justify a $30-40 draft if the money cards are few and far between.)
Didn't they make worm harvest Uncommon in MM13? Call the skybreaker seems to be about on that card's level, but it sticks out like a sore thumb here... Skybreaker is like, duel decks level bad, but shows up here like a lump of coal in the MOST premium booster pack they have ever made. I really want to talk to whoever fought for this card being rare again, or even in the set at all.

I was tired of this card when it was first reprinted in the original Commander product, no reason this should be a rare in this type of product, and also it needs to stop being reprinted.
Why in the world is Call the Skybreaker in this set? It's complete garbage, has never been played in any constructed format, has been printed a million times, is Modern legal, isn't even great in Limited. I'd rather have seen Suffocating Blast if they really needed a worthless red/blue rare.
If they really needed a U/R flying beatstick finisher for limited, couldn't they have used Dracoplasm? It's just as inexpensive, but at least it's fun and has never had a reprint. This is legit the only rare I've complained about, and barring, say, Hamletback Goliath or something else Modern-legal that's gotten a jillion reprints, it'll probably be the only rare I complain about. Feels like it must have been a late add to shore up a limited archetype, in which case, find a better archetype.
