People would probably be ok with it but they'd feel really out of place in an eternal product since the eternal formats don't really use them. They're really only iconic in modern magic so Modern Masters is a better place for them.
The problem with EMA is that every land cycle other than the ABUR duals and the fetch lands feels out of place, since no other cycle sees anything other than very fringe or budget play. After the original duals and the fetches, the land cycle that sees the most play is the future sight cycle with Grove of the Burnwillows and Horizon Canopy, although the other 3 see no play whatsoever, and they both see a lot of modern play. Miracles has played a mystic gate in the past, to play around Choke a little. People are suggesting some of the really terrible pre-modern dual land cycles but they see even less play than something like the shocks or the filters.
I've suggested some terrible cycles, but I'm also expecting that whatever cycle(s) we do get would be commons/uncommons.
I read the whole thread, and if I missed somewhere this was discussed I'm sorry, but I'm most wondering what the last card in the set is. What land or colorless card easily comes after Wasteland? Yavimaya Hollow?

Yavimaya Hollow is on the Reserve List. Watery Grave fits and there is still room for the full set of shocklands but I doubt we'll see that many rare lands in the set.

Yavimaya Hollow is reserved. It could be:
Windbrisk Heights (if the cycle is in or by itself maybe)
Wintermoon Mesa
Wirewood Lodge
Zoetic Cavern (unlikely)
Technically the filters and shocks fit because one of each in the cycle fits there.

The 8th post mentions Wirewood Lodge, and its been reiterated in quite a few other posts. Given that we have an Elf draft theme, its a pretty solid contender.

Exactly. We don't need a rare dual cycle for a set that's focused around limited, just a common or uncommon one. The only rare cycle that feels right might be ABUR duals but that's why all the rare lands should just be utility and leave the fixing for an uncommon/common cycle.
they were originally UC so they can be in without the need to have too many rare lands, they are an allied cycle so an enemy cycle at rare can be used, and they support cards like deathrite shaman (that needs land in yard)
I'm hoping that they're in here and are at common. Pauper needs these.

Why would pauper need these? There's already Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds. I suppose with landfall you'd rather be able to sit on the fetch and pop the turn you actually need the mana, but that seems pretty marginal. The Mirage slow fetches can't be played and popped the same turn for double landfall triggers. In my mind these are irrelevant to pauper unless you need more than 8 fetches, but even in that case, the Shards fetches are probably better....

The benefit these have over Evolving Wilds is that you can sit on them. You mention Landfall, but the real winner if the Mirage lands enter the format is Brainstorm. With Evolving Wilds, you get into awkward situations where you feel compelled to crack it at the end of turn because the land CIPT.
Looking over potential cards for the final white mythic and ruling out cards that are a) Standard-legal, b) printed in MM2015, and c) completely irrelevant in all formats (i.e. Archangel's Light), I can only find a handful of reasonable inclusions.
We can reasonably rule out about half of these:
- I don't see Armageddon or Cataclysm being in alongside Wrath and Toxic Deluge
- Elspeth has too many printings already
- Miracles (Entreat) and Exalted (Sublime) do not appear to be a thing in this set
Linvala was conspicuously absent from FTV: Angels. If we get a true white mythic (not a rare upgraded), I'm betting on her. Akroma was mentioned as a potential reanimator target, and Baneslayer fits that mold as well so those two could also be options.
