I feel that Ancient tomb is likely to be spoiled soon. could use a reprint and fits the list of remaining spots nicely.
I don't think so; it looks like there's going to be a cycle of rare enemy-colored hybrid cards occupying slots 213 through 217; this would preclude Ancient Tomb being in the set since Ashnod's Altar is at 218.
I'm still having a hard time trying to puzzle out where the multicolored cards start and end; it doesn't appear that there's an even number of cards for each mono-color in the set, but judging by where we stand now it looks like there will be two cycles of allied-color gold cards and one cycle of enemy color gold cards, with a couple of tri-color (i.e. Maelstrom Wanderer or maybe five color cards (?) thrown in.
Oh yeah you're right. Total brain fart. I'm still kind of skeptical though in light of the inclusion of Mana Crypt and Chrome Mox already, however, and the fact that it was just an Expedition.
I have a feeling white blue could be a caw-blade like control strategy.
With Jace, Squadron hawk, & stoneforge & jitte & another good equipment. I think batterskull is ruled out already right? Stoneforge seems strange as a reprint since it's the current GP promo, but it seems eternal masters will have a lot of the modern-banned competitive cards.
So there one space between hydroblast and Jtms (057):
Ideas unbound
Impulse
Illusion of grandeur
Intruder alarm
Intuition
?
Intuition is RL
I don't think they want to tilt new players with IoG getting blown with the trigger on the stack
Impulse is a cube staple, gets my vote
Ideas unbound is decent with ub reanimator but I think really needs storm to be worthwhile and we haven't seen if yet (still wishing for fluster)
Intruder alarm is a wildcard
Very interested in the remaining lands. Some fixing would seem to be necessary... the Mirage fetches still fit, I think, as do the Vivids. I would love for it to be the former, for modern border foil versions.
Probably too soon to ask but... Is there a bonus card if you buy a box? Only bought two boxes from the zendikar set and got a ruinous path and goblins, so I assumed there would be some alternite art version of some rare
Also wondering what's between Squadron Hawk and Unexpectedly Absent; Wizards has been a lot less revealing with where they're headed with White than with the other four colors. The only thing we really know is that Green/White is going to be an enchantment-based strategy and there are a couple of good board wipes in White (suggesting White/Blue is going to be a control strategy). Ditto what's between Bloodbraid Elf and Dack Fayden
I think everyone is wondering that. Stoneforge Mystic fits in that slot.
The numbers are still clear for the rest of the Rorix cycle from Onslaught to fit in.
EDH/Commander is a social format, right? So why don't people use their social skills to discuss what they like and don't like, instead of adopting a list with 60+ banned cards?
So it turns out that the Hybrid cards are NOT all enemy-color pair cards. This certainly throws the assumptions off a bit as to what the last two hybrid cards might be; I had Boros Reckoner penciled in at 213.
Also, I updated the OP to include everything currently spoiled including the Solifuge, and finally updated the count by rarity (which I didn't actually realize was there before).

The only question is a fit for what deck? U/B is confirmed as Reanimator and U/G is a threshold/flashback value deck. Also, judging by how so far they're printing all gold/hybrid cards as either uncommon or rare, and both have been printed at common in the past, there's a bit of a dissonance there. Frankly, I'd be totally cheesed to get either as an uncommon.

It'll definitely be interesting where the rest of the pieces fall into the number crunch. I don't expect (hope I'm wrong) anymore big name cards at rare so I'm hoping to see more uncommons and commons. I think we'll see berserk as a green mythic and stoneforge mystic as the other white. the question is what is the last mythic? I'm pulling for it to be rishadan port.

Intuition and Illusions are both reserved list. Impulse would be cool though.

I'm thinking card #1 is Act of Authority.
I'm just happy there's still room for Land Tax!
Ensnaring Bridge and Blood Moon also are still possible.
I'm especially curious about what lands are possible? What lands still fit within the current number crunch?
UBRKess, Dissident MageUBR - Controlling Dissidents
GRhonas the IndomitableG - Indomitable Four Drops
WUBOloro, Ageless AsceticWUB - Loot & Renanimate
If I had to take a guess, I'm going with Captain Sisay, Boros Charm, or Counterflux.
Thoughts?
Mindcensor is good too, but we'd definitely see it at rare. Land Tax is my pick for the other white mythic.
I don't think Bridge or Moon will make it; I think we'll have to wait until MM3 next year.
The entire filter cycle is still open. Probably see it spoiled tomorrow.
I'd like ensnaring bridge to be reprinted

Draft my cube! (630 cards)
