That cheer you just heard? That was your local Commander player.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
What will the price settle at? The only reason that it is nearly as expensive as it currently is is because the demand far outstrips the limited supply.
Of course, this is a limited print run, so it may still stick in the $50-$60 range, if not higher.
Yeah, all my money is going to EMA now. They are absolutely nuts.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.

Modern Masters hasn't made a lot of cards have significant drops.
this won't also.
for some of the most inaccessible cards, you'll at least have the opportunity to buy some because you'll be able to actually find them.
Mana Crypt is an especially rare card. It was never released in an expansion. The only way to get it initially was by sending in an order form in the back of certain MTG books 20 some odd years ago. There's a judge promo, too, but those are typically anything but accessible to most players.
And the card is banned in Legacy, so not a ton of players will be seeking it out for a new Legacy deck. And Vintage is far to inaccessible in paper form for the vast majority of players. Also, it's restricted in Vintage.
So any new demand would come from EDH. If a lot of players decide they want it, I could maybe see the price staying relatively stable. But it just doesn't have enough competitive uses to justify the high price tag with a big influx in the supply. EDH is the primary source of its demand. Price is going to plummet, but will probably stay on the high end of the mythic values in this set.

It's actually so high right now because speculators and vendors bought them up (gotta love that side of magic...not) to hike the price assuming no reprint.
It was 30 euros 3 months ago.
Mana Crypt hasn't been widely available under $100 since January 2014.

Wasteland and FOW had already a drop of around 20$ in their prices since the set announcement (TCGplayer prices)

This set is ultra limited to the extreme.
I'm expecting to be unable to get a box for less than double MSRP.
I might as well just buy all the cards that are being printed in it with how expensive and unavailable it will be.

RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.
I doubt it with Toxic Deluge being spoiled but we can dream right?

Its been hovering a bit above 60 euro for a long while though in the EU.
