This was practically a shoe in, what with it being the best blue mythic, arguably. Glad this is seeing reprint, should brings its price down enough where I could grab one at some point.
I am certainly not disappointed that they are intending to reprint cards banned in Modern, given Modern is not an Eternal set. The lowering of the price on Jace should be good for everyone in all formats, especially Commander, that do not yet have one.

Yeah, I was hoping the modern banned cards would be in here, while they leave the modern money cards for a future modern masters. Let them focus on legacy/vintage cards they can reprint in this set but not in a modern masters set.
Lost my bet on the box contest but happy it got reprinted for my blue-playing friends.

So disappointing - how many opportunities do you get to do new art for one of the most iconic history-filled cards. Two straight times they declined to let any number of awesome artists go for it.

I think that thought kind of contradicts itself, in a way, though. It definitely is one of the most iconic cards in the history of Magic, and that is arguably also a reason to keep the recognizable artwork for it to help preserve that That being said, I wouldn't complain about new artwork, either. Can definitely understand the reasoning for keeping it, though.
Yeah, I have to say it's better they kept the art for this one. There are so many jaces out there that you can get whatever look you want, even anime. JTMS, though, is recognizable by it's art alone, so it's better to keep it.

They let someone else draw Necropotence. New players don't know why its called "the skull." Way to ruin iconic art wotc

Seems to be a recurring theme, don't it?
I'm actually pretty excited at being able to trade for one for my Commander deck, actually.
My hope is snow basics in here, just because.
Shame we didn't get new art for him though.

Even if it was pretty expected it's still a great card and hopefully this will help lower it's price tag a bit.
