Between the instances of thirteen in the text and the thirteens in the art, there are thirteen thirteens on this card. This is a masterpiece.
I'm only seeing 12.
The name
It costs 1 black and 3 generic, 1-3
13 hanging utensils
13 stones in the fireplace
13 wood blocks in the fireplace
13 broken pieces of pottery
13 boards in wall
13 boards in ceiling
13 rivets in the barrel
13 drops of blood on the wall
and the two instances of "13" in the text box
Which am I missing?
There's 13 stones in the arch of the fireplace as well as 13 larger stones that make the fireplace.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Pox should get people from 20 to 13 (6.66 rounded up). Although most people run some sort of sac/pain lands so you'd probably need something like Orzhov Guildmage to make small modifications to their life totals.
