YEEEES. This is what I was waiting for! Powerful 1 drop Werewolf! Now let's get a few more good 1-2 mana werewolves and some support spells! I'll take a Moonmist reprint please...
So they can make Monastery Doppelgänger but give us some not-so-solid Wolves besides the token maker and planeswalker? Can't wait to see the other uncommon werewolves.
Immerwolf should make a return. Or have some human that flips and does Immerwolf's effect.

"The essence of every world, every spell and every thought is power. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists."
Well, except for the fact it can never hit for 2 on T1...and you can turn it off...and red decks aren't usually going to want to skip a turn of playing stuff for an unblockablish 2/2. So, it's more like Raging Goblin with an upside.
Seems mostly worse than waif. Definitely worse than Captive. Unlikely to see much play while Falkenrath Glutton and Zurgo are both legal.
true, it is not as good as that plucky young lass from back when we first went to Innistrade. But getting this out on your first turn should have similar effects.
Besides I will argue that the werewolf is slightly better, because it is not rare so it will be easier to get and actually play.

Well, no, the aggressive deck doesn't want to stop. But if they're on the play, there's not often something the other players can do on Turn 1. Not generally, anyway.
Budget Goblin Guide? Nice. Let's see what other werewolves we get this set, right now many werewolves aren't really aggressive so It doesn't look for this card.

I tend to think the budget Goblin Guide is Monastery Swiftspear, but mostly thinking about burn. For decks with fewer instants such as zoo this might fit better.
PD: The art on the night side of the card is awesome.
I can't help but feel it's the day side of the card with the better art. Fantastic mood.
Nice creature, good to see more decent 1 drops. Very interesting comparison with Reckless Waifu. It's better on damage rate if you don't expect to actually get to flip.
R for 1/1 and possible 3/2
or R for 1/1 haste and possible 2/2 menace
Yeah, there is that menace factor. Sure ain't bad for helping to close out a game and score lethal. I think menace wins this one for me personally.
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
it's a good card.
but people comparing it to Goblin Guide need to remember how hard is to keep a werewolf flipped... unless you're very late in the game, at which time a 2/2 menace is not very relevant.

The point isn't for you to skip playing things. It's for your opponent to stumble and miss playing something which 90% of decks don't on turn one

That assumes you're always on the play, and that always isn't the case. I'm not sure yet this is much better than the Waif or Captive. Captive could swing for six as a measly one drop, which is a very good return on investment for a 1 drop.

That's unfortunately unavoidable. But point was that on the play this plays just like waif while on the draw it is slightly better due to haste. You aren't just sitting around not playing things to get your wolves to evolve. That is bad werewolf logic and why Garruk was/is good in wolves. He gives you action without casting spells and makes relevant typed tokens.

I love this! I have been trying to be so patient with my wolfy friends' reveals. This is wonderful and I agree, another moonmist effect would be prime. I like the art on this better than Reckless Waif but also I believe it's far more likely to get that 3 damage in than her.
In what universe? If you build a deck like that, and ever draw that hand, I will personally come to wherever you live, perform complicated acts of awestruck ********, then disembowel myself to escape the world that allowed something like this to occur and validate you.
Goblin Glory Chaser, now in Werewolf decks.
If you drop this on turn 1 and your opponent doesn't drop anything, it will be extremely painful.
For him.

If I might add, it might even be on par with Goblin Guide and Monastery Swiftspear, becoz menace.
