Man, I really hope the four other main tribes can get at least half as much support as the vampires! This is madness!
Spirit tribal is going to be pretty flashy.
You'll really flip out over werewolf tribal.
And you'll groan when you see the zombie tribal.
Yeah, and human tribal is gonna be, uh, um...

The Meaning of Life: "M-hmm. Well, it's nothing very special. Uh, try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in, and try and live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations"
Onering's 4 simple steps that let you solve any problem with Magic's gameplay
Whether its blue players countering your spells, red players burning you out, or combo, if you have a problem with an aspect of Magic's gameplay, you can fix it!
Step 1: Identify the problem. What aspect of Magic don't you like? Step 2: Find out how others deal with the problem. How do players deal with this aspect of the game when they run into it? Step 3: Do what those players do. Step 4: No more problem. Bonus: You are now better at Magic. Enjoy those extra wins!
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I like that they are pushing vampires (my favorite tribe), but I'd hoped that we'd see them go for more of the control/aristocrat angle with them a la Bloodline Keeper, Gatekeeper of Malakir, and Olivia Voldaren.
Merciless Resolve has awesome flavor. The sacrificed creature/land symbolizes Markov Manor and its residents, and Sorin could care less about both.
Given the flavor text, I'd figure Sorin could care less, precisely because he does care.
At the very least, he's pissed off. Even if you take it to the most shallow, simplified sense of B caring, he's still offended Nahiri would burn his personal assets on his turf.
"Nahiri may be good at making pretty rocks, but does that ***** have any idea how hard it is to manage a society of freakin' vampires?"
Beyond that, it's likely he'd gotten to know and become fond of atleastsomeofthem.
I know I'd be devastated if someone crashed my sexy-surprise-welcome-home party and slaughtered everyone before I even got there
You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.
It irks me more than it should that it's Olivia's Bloodsworn rather than Voldaren Bloodsworn. Not really sure why that irks me but it does.
Olivia's line is a cult of personality. The other three aren't that prominent within their lines. The falconer is dead, Runo is overshadowed by the Stromkirk's two gods (money and not-Dagon), and Edgar doesn't even hang out with the youngsters anymore.
It's kinda flavorful we don't even have cards for them (yet) and they barely show in flavor text at all, but Olivia is all over ISD, all over SOI and has two cards.
Is that Flinthoof Boar trading in the condiontal +1/+1 for flying, a relevant tribe, and the ability to haste other creates in that tribe as well as itself?
I guess it can't block, but that's not too much of a drawback in the decks that would want to play it.

*Insert giant block of annoying garbage that no one cares about but you have to scroll past anyway here*
Olivia's Bloodsworn shows flying much better than Olivia, Pushed off a Cliff for War.
I wish the Twins had Menace, but I guess a 3/5 with Madness 2B at common couldn't ask for something more (wouldn't have minded a 2/4 Menace instead though, odd power and toughness also feels funny on a card about Twins).
BR Vampire aggro is back in limited, and pretty much pumped up this time around. Merciless resolve is a nice way of going around a flood or for some late game gas hen you have too much mana anyway.
Stromkirk Mentor fits right into my Cynthia Sheppard vampiresandblood deck. It's not the most dangerous deck out there, but damn if it isn't the best looking
Despite I'd love to see that (given we've only had one BR planeswalker when other color pairs haveuptofour), I don't think they're goint to print 3 red planeswalkers in the same set. But hey, weirder things happen...

I fully agree. I like OGW, but man, BFZ was SO bad...
Well, Little Girls are only ½/½
Standard - RIP Cat
Modern - Death & Taxes
Commander - Mazirek, Trostani, Angry Omnath
But vampire ones are 2/2.
