The wurm is god good. I just don't see delirium as a very powerful mechanic. Plus, the Angel beats the wurm in a one-on-one fight. Or a Pit Fight.
It seems better than the angel to me. I'd put the Wurm's chances in constructed as pretty decent. The angel is more powerful in impact, but it's more than a little bit more expensive and not that much more impactful.

I at least like how all the rares are from SOI. That was an awful trend putting rares in from previous blocks. May even get a few of the WU one just for the Rattlechains, depending on how well my actual pulls go.
Wow.
You gotta love how they printed those worthless new DLs,
only to not even use them where appropriate.
Yeah, why is it that only the BG deck got one? I didn't spend a lot of time looking at the BG decklist to see what synergies would require it, but seems odd. I guess since they are in enemy color pairs they didn't bother since their are a few allied color decks?
The UG deck actually tempts me: the face rare is the worst of the bunch, but the non-face rare is one of the best for my purposes, and in general it has most of the pieces of a fun-looking Investigate deck. The WU one has the best non-face rare, though neither I nor the deck itself have enough good Spirit tribal to actually make it work (at least it should make Rattlechains cheap to acquire if it ends up being constructed-playable). The GB deck seems just as swingy as the mechanic it's built around: awful without delirium, amazing with it. Not sure at a glance how well the deck can enable it. The BR deck builds itself, but I wish they could have gone with...basically anything else for the non-face rare. Black has two Madnessrares, one of which is on-tribe, Red has one Madness rare and one specifically on-tribe Madness-enabling rare, and they go with the generic burn spell? Really? And the WR deck actually has surprisingly good removal, but beyond that...ehhhh. I'm similarly unimpressed by its non-face rare, though at least it doesn't have glaringly obvious missed options the way the Vampire deck does, and Flameblade Angel is the best of the face rares in my opinion.
...so a bit of a mixed bag, overall. And yeah, I'm confused at the lack of dual lands in the other two enemy-color decks - if anything, the delirium one should want it the least, since it has cards that specifically care about basic lands.

I was getting exited for the vampire deck since both Rattlechains and Tireless Tracker are pretty good cards.
Should have known WotC wouldn't allow people to get playable rare vampires without going through the booster lottery or SCG.
Sadly, good rares in intro packs are a rare occurrence, so three is above par. Tireless Tracker is the only one with a high chance of being played in constructed. The strength of Inexorable Blob depends on how viable delirium is in standard (though curving Blob into Mindwrack Demon is tempting), and Rattlechains has all of the casual appeal of a tribal lord without enough spirit presence to see standard play just yet. Part of me wishes that it wasn't such a nonbo with Geist of Saint Traft, in terms of modern usage.
P.S.: For mechanical: Skull can be okay like evergreen to stop Aura-umblocable combos. Madness return I see uncreative but is flavoured. Investigate can be funny to use but need see real matchs to ensure. Delirium (I wish evergreen in GB like Prow in UR) for my the better Keyword, force to us play diferent type cards give more diversity in games than creatures+instant decks.
Skulk, not Skull. Skull would be a weird keyword name.
These decks are generally ok, but the 'Angelic Fury' one is weird. Packing a grand total of <drumroll> ONE WHOLE ANGEL! I remember when I was a brand new player and bought Theme decks based on the art on the outside of the box and the name. If I got this deck as a kid I would say, "Oh, sweet, I bet this has cool Angels!" And I would have been PISSED! lol

I think I liked Origins theme-decks better than the current stock. Also, thanks for reminding me I need to pick up the intro art foil for Pia and Kiran. I actually really like them but haven't gotten around to buying them up yet for casual.

Wait. 3 of 4? Which one is the 5th super dud?
Oops, meant 3/5. Rare blaze is a rare blaze. Devil's playground seems like bulk to me.

Remember the days when intro packs were theme decks and they came in sets of 4?
So which one is the dud and which one is the super dud?
And packs a secondary rare that produces Devils to boot. Naming fail!
