I think Thing is pretty good in UWR Control, but I'm not sure about Delver in any format. He bounces Delvers and Young Pyromancer tokens, which seems counterproductive.

These days, some wizards are finding they have a little too much deck left at the end of their $$$.

For people saying that Thing in the Ice is overhyped, perhaps you aren't considering its flip triggered ability? There are so many ways to abuse it that it isn't funny. Opponent swinging out at you? Cast your last instant/sorcery to transform it, and bounce their board. Or do it in response to a Jace flip activation. Or trigger the flip at the end of opponent's turn for a clean shot with your new 7/8.
The trick is to use Instants and Sorceries that draw you a card so that you don't run out of steam. For instance,
Also, cards with Rebound, such as Center Soul and Artful Maneuver give you more bang for your buck since each one card can remove two counters.
Brain in a Jar also may be a good fit for the deck, if for no other reason allowing you to cast Day's Undoing at the end of opponent's turn (and hopefully triggering the transformation of Thing in the Ice at the same time).
I would never use unsummon in casual deck nowadays. I mean, many of us realize it's pretty meh early in our magic careers, but on the other hand- If I was making a casual madness deck that contained blue, you bet I would throw in at least one Just the wind, if only to showcase the mechanic. In my paradigm, Just the wind is actually vastly superior to the never-played unsummon. (Unsummon is probably always solid in limited tho dawg)

My favorite flavor text: Time of Heroes
Feel free to tell me yours!

I like to think of it as a delayed 7 damage burn spell that bounces your snapcasters for reuse in a counterburn deck
I must say, its a marked improvement from OGW, which itself was ahead of BFZ by a good margin. So far this is shaping up to be the first well done set in a while
One of the popular theories is an Emrakul flesh lattice formation. Whether that means Emrakul is actually on Innistrad or is only tangentially involved is up for debate.
It could also just be some magic corruption from normal Innistrad things. Maybe from the delver researchers.
And what does the artifact reveal on that woman skin? Ermakul stuff? What about that land that shows Nahiri is creating those stones used by cultist and is summoning some kind of ... eldrazi?
The thing on the skin was an eye growing. It's not a marker of Emrakul's brood as of now, but we've seen them flesh out the other Eldrazi broods a bit more so who knows.
As far as the land someone was theorizing she was siphoning the mana from the plane in order to attract Emrakul. Of course it could just be part of the whole moon thing.
No Eldrazi ever has had an eye. No way the species of Eyeless Watcher is terrorizing people with growing eyes in body parts now!
Please! Emrakul with eyes is avens with teeth: not happening.
Eyeless Watcher is Ulamog's brood, not Emrakul's. I agree it's not likely but there does seem to be some Eldrazi-ish things showing up. I'm hoping they're not though and Emrakul is out there among the stars, spreading his noodly appendages into a new, unsuspecting world.
Thing in the Ice is just amazing. Hey Blue! Do you want a winning condition that is cheap to cast and is activated by doing what you were going to do anyway? If an Ux control deck becomes a thing in Standard this will be an auto include, it's a passable defender that ends games right there when it flips, as if an 8/7 wasn't enough, it includes mass bounce for free.
Elusive Tormentoris a total slam-dunk from a flavor perspective. A vampire that transforms into an intangible mist and back? They couldn't have ported the idea in a better way. If there are any good Auras in the set the mist form is going to win some Limited games like that. Indestructible AND hexproofed unblockable creatures are nothing if annoying.
The common land is surprisingly good, I wouldn't even rule it out for Constructed, Eldrazi decks would definitely welcome it (I don't mean you soon-to-be-banned Modern Eldrazi).
The vampire for 1R is intriguing, Incorrigible Youths have found another friend.
And last but not least, the wurm with eeevil phantom hands peeking out of its mouth can get er...disgusting pretty fast once you hit Delirium. Another Limited beatstick that will decide games.
If the following preview days keep up with today, this set will look definitely promising.

Thought-Knot Seer would like a word. Also, Kozilek has eyes growing all around his body. Take a look at Deepfathom Skulker. While Emrakul's brood hasn't shown it so far, Emrakul has been somewhat retconned into warping the physiques of living creatures and the world.

Anticipate

Day's Undoing
Expedite
Grip of the Roil
Ojutai's Command

Read the Bones
Slip Through Space
Tormenting Voice
Not to mention all of the Instants and Sorceries that will have Investigate (such as Expose Evil)
Pieces of the Puzzle also seems like it was built for this card.

But to say the guy who commented plainly that Unsummon is better was wrong is picking a fight here.

You are correct. And a 0/4 could block the Reflector Mage all day until transformation.

Never understood why -- or, indeed, how -- people evaluate cards in a vacuum. Wouldn't they suffocate?
beerblood right about now cuz That card is just fantastic.I'll wait for Thing in the Ice to cool off a bit--seems everyone an their brother will be going after it for the first few weeks.
The flavor of some of these are just unbelievably good. OH!! That ART!!!
I'm really really digging the Lovecraftian elements so far--they're crushing it.

Well... you're right, it doesn't look like an artifact. A land would (1) be very problematic with the DFC rules and (2) would have a brown background.
Could there be a true-colorless card at the BOTTOM of the list? That does seem strange too.
I found a much better picture on Reddit: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cc9orrUUMAAu13z.jpg
Shows 011/018.
Thought-Knot Seer and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth both have eyes.
Well, at first glance, that symbol says to me: "Moon breaks open and a bunch of tentacles dropping out of it.."
The sea god is obviously tied in here too, judging from the background and the fact we're discussing a 'Clue' token.
